SuperNote is still the king in a consumer-friendly perspective (repearability, UI features under no paywalls, etc), and Remarkable kind of admits it, as I can see. Huge thanks to our favorite content e-ink Reviewer.

Love my Pure/Move combo, the sync just works so seamlessly. The difference in aspect ratios is very easy to deal with and people make too big a deal out of it IMO. The infinite vertical canvas is perfect for me as a postgrad physics/maths student as a long piece of mathematical working can be as tall as it needs to be, without artificial page breaks getting in the way.

It looks like on their website that it's a Carta 1300 display, but indeed 226 DPI.

This is a very good entry spot into e-ink. £399 for the bundle here in the UK, the device, marker plus and sleeve folio. All these with the excellent software and hardware. I ordered mine straightaway and my ever faithful RM2 with the keyboard folio went to the wife and she loves it so much, because reMarkable is just simple and easy to use. I plan to use my RMPure hand in hand with my Manta. These are the two platforms I trust and use. I had to let go of my Nomad and RMPPM though, just arrived at the conclusion that the small form factor is not for my use case. The Manta for my personal use and the RMPure for work. That's how I roll. Great content.

My Manta, which you helped me pick (thank you for that, good sir) is still so bloody good. It is 600 USD but I was happy putting 600 down and to not worry about paywalls than buying this seemingly average product. Excellent review.

For me it’s the added yearly subscription, the removal of the 3 year warranty with the connect just makes it even more expensive.

Their marketing has worked on me. I've always wanted one but could not 'pull the trigger'. I'm a secondary school teacher and I use an ipad in teaching and for note-taking. This will be my daily driver (when it arrives). Received an email the other day saying delivery will be delayed due to popular demand on this one.

That sounds good, but 226 PPI isn't exactly what I was expecting. I'd love to see a comparison video with the Boox Go 10.3 Gen2, as you mentioned yourself. I think you'll rank the Pure just below the Boox Go 10.3 Gen2 on your top 10 list.

Can you advise please, Im looking to buy e-ink and I definitely planning to buy remarkable brand. It will be my first e-ink tablet (and in general first ever tablet). I primarily will use it as: Daily Agenda (instead of my paper agenda), notes and meetings. I can buy a Remarkable 2 with 320€ slightly used (less then 10 hours) year model 2023 with leather book folder and stylus plus or should I go and buy the paper pure bandle at 469€ brand new? I really like the idea of remarkable 2 as it has more premium feel (aluminiumc thinner etc) but ofc newest model almost always better. Pls advise what you would do in my case, for the use I explained above. thank you

I really wanted this to replace my original remarkable. Still as I use it mainly for sketching I need good pen so not EMR... well need to test it... and not having 300ppi. For me its a bit sad. like even from the first version they had the best drawing experience. not just the pen but how it behaves. And the dream for me would just be the same old remarkable as the first - just more snappy, higher resolution and contrast. Thats it - but it seems unlikely - maybe in a few years they will have a higher res - and also maybe their pen then would be at the same level as wacom

Sadly, I like the RM P Pure overall until 40:45 For that reason, they should use new technology to fix the SUI Active wobbles issue. Why not be like other devices Not EMR but Accurate. I mean iPad pro with Apple Pencil Pro and Huawei M-Pencil Pro

Yes Prime Day in June (date tbd) for Kindle Scribe B&W no backlight 11” might be a buy vs Pure. Issue is it seems the Amazon tablet only lets you upload/download load files as I understand it. It does not sync work from tablet to cloud (be it OneDrive nor google). Had the new Scribe colorsoft. Beyond the step down in text display sharpness I likewise hated the Yellow color vs my RPP yellow.
The A.I. offered me like another $100 off to keep it (maybe I should have) but ended up returning it.
Don’t know, all things considered do wonder if the no backlite 11” might be worth considering…else B&W backlight just not color again. But that is just my take
Nice review and sort of cute that you said 300ppi near the end, guess they had the 226ppi look good on this device though as I have all three RM models will have to take a pass on this one unless my rm2 dies…got it used but still going strong.
