Freddie was out of this world even when he was still in it. 💯💛

No-one could sing this nowadays  and he was nearly dead when he sang this. What a voice. There will never be another freddie. Never 🙏🙏🙏

This song always brings a tear to my eye knowing what Freddie was going through. We dearly miss you freddie

When I first heard this I was left speechless. RIP Freddie

Just imagine seeing a man who could barely walk and see, and then he started to sing like this. It's crazy. His voice still had the strength that his body no longer had at that moment.

Yes,he was dying...but still powerful, unbelievable...

Freddie was asked to sing this by Brian, Freddie took one shot of vodka and did it one take. Absolutely amazing and emotional.

Yes, Freddie did the song in one take after a couple shots of vodka while literally dying. There is a reason why he is a legend

He was beyond the universe. We just tried to touch him.  We can only give him our love forevermore.

Brian wrote this song for Freddie and the band. To help them deal with what they knew was coming

I've heard this song a million times and I get goosebumps and I tear up at the end. Every single time.

The crowd is at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire where there was about 100,000 to 200,000 Queen fans. This was one of the last songs that he sung before he died, he was so ill that he couldn't do a video but he sang this song in one go. Brian May wrote the song as it was how Freddie felt. Freddie was in the recording studio, Brian asked if Freddie was ok to sing it, Freddie finished his glass of vodka and then said I will do the fucking song love and did it in one go. RIP Freddie we love you and miss you. 💂‍♂️💂‍♂️💂‍♂️💂‍♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

That last chorus when you get the shot of the 200,00O fans gives me chills every time.

Never heard anyone sing better than he did in this song,. Unreal ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This one is so emotional and his voice is unreal . Amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️

When you find these personal things about Queen and especially Freddie- that he was so very powerful as sick and close to death as he was, a whole new perspective comes into view- the genius of Freddie. He was formidable!!

Even Bri says he never heard anyone sing like that ever 🔥

Freddie gave every ounce of himself in the last album Innuendo. He always gave his all throughout his career, but at the end of his life he showed the world what an amazing vocalist he truly was. Freddie went out on top, and as far as I'm concerned he will always be on top. Great reaction.

thanks again, Jack TB -- here is the "official" story: "" is a song by the British rock band Queen, featured as the twelfth and final track on their 1991 album . It is credited to Queen, but written mainly by Brian May. The song chronicles the effort of Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life, although his diagnosis with HIV/AIDS had not yet been made public in spite of ongoing media speculation claiming that he was seriously ill.   Mercury was so ill when the band recorded the song in 1990 that May had  concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it.
Recalling Mercury's performance, May states; "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing.' And he went, 'I'll
fucking do it, darling'—vodka down—and went in and killed it, completely  lacerated that vocal".

Their absolute best 🎵
