I LOVE the way you referred to her with respect as a “young woman.”

“unsuitable for public disclosure”. I can only dream of such a concept nowadays.

As a long-standing resident of Peasenhall, I have long been intrigued by this case. I have written several articles on this tragic affair and have appeared on local media with my thoughts.
Which always come back to the same conclusion : One of the Gardiners was ---Guilty. Probably the male member. Sadly, he took his "secret" to his grave.

Can you imagine just how big this trial was? First, poor Rose. It's heartbreaking to think even with circumstantial evidence that Gardiner was just let go. Well, prayers for all those who've never seen justice. Thank you!!❤🎉

Wow… Rose and her unborn child never truly got justice, but I think we can all guess who most likely did it. It is maddening when there is so much evidence that isn’t true “proof”…

Wait! A doctor thought she did this all to herself? I hope he didn't have any patients. Good grief.

What a sad way to die. Rose deserved much better, I think we know who murdered poor Rose and her baby. I think he got away with murder.

Great way to start my Monday with BC and breakfast. One of the best true crime channels on YouTube! A very sad and harrowing case, no matter what relationships were going on, Rose did not deserve to be murdered with her unborn child. I pray they are both resting in peace. ❤

This case raises questions. Rose Harsent had been intimate with a man and received naughty letters before yet, on that night, she was killed.....why? Was it her pregnancy that triggered someone into unforgivable action? It was so interesting. Thank you Brief Case.

Why are there such evil sadistic demons about to
Poor poor lady
Such evil
I loved your description of village and how England was improving education for children especially girls

@brendaholliday6866 1 year ago

This was a "horrific and heartbreaking," case of a pregnant young woman who was heinously murdered. I personally believe Rose was murdered by the married church leader. I can't comprehend how two trials ended in hung juries with all the evidence that was presented, period! Great investigation and presentation, as always. Take care ⚖

I've been told William Gardner moved to Norwood in South London and ran a corner shop for many years. I come from that part of the world and have always wondered where the shop was.
