Bender means gay. Hence Neil's dad is 'Bent'

I love that you both get such a kick out of Jay and the absolute filth that pours out of his mouth. The Inbetweeners really is the closest portrayal of British teenage boys you'll see on any show. The dynamic between the lads, the relentless piss taking and the filthy dialogue is what made the show so damn relatable and a huge cross generational hit in the UK.

The movies are hilarious as well, but watch them after all 3 seasons as it follows on from the end of the series!

To go ON a bender means to go out drinking/ partying all night or A Bender means your gay.

This show is genuinely one of the funniest things you’ll ever watch, UK humour at its peak. It only gets better but this is one of my favourites for sure

"I ain't eating that , it's come out the fucking sea"

Absolutely legend quote 😂😂😂😂

"bender" means that a person is gay (it comes from calling people bent as it is the opposite of straight.)

Will screaming at Lauren, Jay freaking out, Simon’s Cock sock, and Neil Boxing a fish. One of the best scenes ever.

My 2 young sons used to watch inbetweeners here in England around 15 years ago and I'm only just finding out what I let them watch 👀

The Inbetweeners is without doubt one of the most hilarious British shows of all time, I loved every single filthy second of it at the time 😂

"Party hmm? cool that sounds" Still among my favourite lines in the entire show.

It’s so refreshing to see 2 Americans enjoying of the best English tv series ever made and actually understanding the British humor

I was like 14 when this came out and I can confirm, along with loads of other things in this show, “Feisty one, you are” became one of the most quoted things you’d hear everyday in school 😂

“Don’t take his pants off Neil, you’re not your dad!” That lines been cut

The weird thing is that it is a decent representation of how high school was for me and my mates in the 90s 🤣

the bit when Neil punches the fish has stuck with me for the last 15 years, great memories

@niamhed 4 years ago

It's all in the natural order, the movies come after the series in chronological order!

The fish punch scene is my favorite moment from Niel, I remember keeling over with laughter the first time I saw it lol

I wish these two knew how much the "ooh friends" in the high pitch voice influenced how literally all school boys in the entire nation spoke to one another
