Simon's dad is quite typical of British dads.. just trying to embarrass their kid for a laugh. Jay's dad is just brutal lol

British dads love the banter with their kids, helps break down subjects which may become embarrassing to talk about.

Fun fact, the girl who plays Tara started dating the guy who plays Simon. They just had a child few weeks ago.

If a British dad has the opportunity to make their child feel shamed and embarrassed he will revel in his task.

Yes. Yes they are.

Yup, British dads are like that. I once brought a girl home from a bar when i was 18 and my dad sent her home and told me i'd thank him in the morning because I had my beer goggles on and she was horrible.

“They all love a slap” with Tia iso expression is the best line in this episode.

Incidentally the drug dealer in the club is a comedian called Doc Brown and is a funny guy, he raps in his stand up shows worth a watch.

Yes UK dads are! I'm slowly ramping it up to be a dad like this to my 14yr old son!😁

"... I was just toe-fuckin' the one on the floor."

Yes, British Dads can be brutal, that's where we get our piss taking sense of humour from. It's passed on down the family. My Dad would take the piss. Recently I went on a sailing trip to France with some colleagues and brought my son along. He turned up with a suitcase. If you know anything about boats you know suitcases are useless. First thing I said to him...
Suitcase wanker!
He's 13 😂

The black guy who is playing the drug dealer is a brilliant stand up comedian called Doc Brown and you might've seen him on Taskmaster with Greig Davies.
