I honestly almost didn’t watch this after the first three minutes because I misjudged him as arrogant and disregarding. But then I realized he is not that at all. He has strong conviction and lacks tolerance to pointing out the obvious. Or in this case, the unnecessary questions. Small talk minded people do not appeal to him. I respect that. I imagine he gets that from Mary. I am glad I stuck around. He shows vulnerability and compassion. True empathy to the plight of his ancestors. That is far from arrogant. Also traits, I imagine, came from Mary and Mabel. Their work and faith attests to that.
