I know it should be standard practice, but I appreciate that throughout the video you say what was sent, what you spent your money on, and what was sponsored. Thank you 😊

Instead of calling it the meeden paper, I think it's better to call it the Baohong paper! It's widely available in Asia, and I've also seen it at opus art supplies in Vancouver, Canada, and on Jackson's. Meeden just white labels and calls that paper theirs, but for many regions around the world, it's a lot easier (and often cheaper) to find online by looking for the baohong labeling!

notably the one you have is their student grade, and they have another artist grade line, but its one of the few brands where the student grade paper is still cotton and I've been told there's minimal difference in the behavior, though I've yet to try the artist grade one myself.

sooo Granulating mixes have become quite popular in the last few years, esp since Schmincke started the whole super granulating line (that to me feels a bit extra for a name). Them and Daniel smiths have a lot of options, but now other brands are making more specific set! Holbein has some, but my favorite so far has been the Mijello tourmaline line, it's a great line with tons of options and the addition of the tourmaline stone that add a bit of extra spice to the mixes ✨
But if you want, you can also focus on the single pigments themself and build your own little palette that you can use to make almost any mix you want. I did it few years ago, I went and check the most common colors used in the mixes and slowly build it, it was worth it! On top of my mind I would say that pigments like PB29 (ultramarine blue), PG50 (cobalt teal blue) and PR233 (potters pink) are used a lot. And almost any brand would work, so you can go with the cheaper brand too, depending on where you live.

That's actually Baohong paper! I also like using it. They even sell large rolls that you can cut yourself. I really like their quality

I don’t know about granulation but I love Daniel smith watercolours

White nights watercolours also have a good range of granulating watercolours.

Daniel Smith and Schminke granulating colours are some of the best in my opinion. The Lunar colours by DS are absolutely incredible and amazing in every way for landscapes and seascapes. Hematite Genuine is my most used colour, very much like Lunar Black, but with brown undertones

Daniel smith and da Vinci are the tops dogs of granulation, but if you want to have the effect with the watercolors you already have you can always use granulation medium! It comes in a bottle and you just mix it into your mixes, or into your water container if ur going to use a lot. Schminke also does some ‘super-granulating’ colors but I haven’t tried any of those, so I can’t say much on them!

I love love love! watching your updated favorite supply videos! I love watching people talk about how they use their supplies and why they like the supplies they use. I tried the fudenosuke brush pens and the mars lead holder because of one of your videos like this years ago and I love them and still use them

I to have recently gotten into fountain pens but i do know that instead of getting full size bottles you can also get little samples of ink to see if you like the color

I really like Daniel Smith Lunar Black (granulating). I find that the granulation helps make really realistic shadows, specifically on water.

neocolor pastels get a lot of hype but worth it honestly, they're so good 😍

You can absolutely swap out the nib for your lamy fountain pen! They are still commonly used in school here in germany, and there are several different types of nibs you can swap them for. If youve never done it before, you can probably find some more information on their website as well, but overall its pretty easy :)

Pleaseeeee make a video on how you use your digital brushes!

Holbein Granulating set! They granulate really nicely!

I cannot live without BIC ballpoint pens. The Crystal ones have awesome color range but sketching in the OG purple pen is an unbeatable experience.

Prima Marketing's metallic accent watercolors are very fun. They have granulation AND they're shiny/sparkly so they give this awesome texture. I got mine on Amazon.

My go-to are : White Nights watercolor, maleviches and other colored pencils, maleviches gouache, acrylic, alcohol  and watercolor markers

Yay, new video dropped!

Wow I'd love to try those Paul Ruben watercolor palette...love the pigmentation of those color swatches.
