The nick dub of season 3 gave us that scream Tecna had in the episode where she got her enchantix still gives me goosebumps even musa’s breakdown is so gut wrenching props to whoever gave the voice direction for that

Personally, I like thinking that Bloom becoming a major hero of Magix somehow led her to popularizing Pizza there after season 1, it’s just never really addressed directly.

The Nick era has the best voice direction in my opinion. It doesn’t get enough credit for having some of the best in the industry, especially in their supporting cast, like Grey DeLisle and Dee Bradley Baker

I became a Winx fan during the Nickelodeon era and in my opinion, that was the BEST Winx era. With an amazing voice cast, great animation, and perfect marketing & merchandising, this era of Winx deserves better!!! 🩵💛🩷❤💜💚

I've watched both the 4kids and Nick dubs and love them both. Molly Quinn is probably my favorite Bloom voice, she's able to capture her sweet and fierce sides perfectly. Nick was far from the worst thing to ever happen to winx,I mean harmonix is my 2nd favorite form in the whole show and that came from season 5 SO GORGEOUS.

9:47 The specials were made because nickelodeon didn´t want to air so many seasons so they made the specials as an introduction to the franchise

I love how the Winx interact with each other in seasons 4 and onwards and how they would clash with one another because of different personalities and ideas.

My favorite scene is when Tecna tells Musa "Timmy isn't like that" and Musa apologizes realizing she was projecting 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

The nick era is the one I grew up with, it's actual the only dub aside from RAI that I can watch all the way through. Despite it's flaws in the later seasons, I love it with my whole heart!!

Tecna fairy of tecnology 🌐🧚🏼‍♀️

I stand by that Nick was the gold standard for dubbing, but they should have stayed out of the writer's room

I just loved that this version of Winx introduced so many other people like you and me to the franchise, even if it didn't quite have the same core as the original series. The era of waiting for new Season 5 and 6 episodes to come out will always be my favourite!

51:18 - That was acc addressed in one of the books. The Winx are at Alfea taking graduate masterclasses in magic

Before I watch this I would like to just say that the Nick era was genuinely great. They introduced so much world building into the show to make it more interesting. A lot of the concepts were not done well, but the ideas could all be used for a very interesting story for a potential reboot of the series... And Rainbow did NOTHING WITH IT! 😭😭😭😭😭

ANYWAYS, People may say they broke continuity. Darling Continuity was broken since Season 3. All of the company of light story made no logical sense, the movie made that story line even more inconsistent. Then Season 4 happend. That season also makes no sense. Bloom was sent to earth as a baby, but she was not taken by the wizards even tho she was still on earth when Roxy was a baby. And secondly, Faragonda said that Earth Fairies haven't been around for hundreds of years, which is AGAIN, IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE OF ROXY!!! So yeah, justice for Daphne's Season 5 recon that reconed itself mid season XD

Sooooo glad that someone finally did this, I was thinking of doing my own yearsssss ago but ended up scrapping it lol

I do have a soft spot for the Nickelodeon era because that’s how I got introduced to Winx club in the first place and this era holds a very special place in my heart. I have met one of the voice actors from the Nickelodeon dub for Flora.

I really enjoyed your video. In Nick's defense, they promoted the series very well. I don't know if you're familiar with WinxForeverPodcast, but in their video about the Nick era from 2011 to 2013, they released Winx content very frequently with specials and commercials. They made the beautiful promotional spots etc. I love the Nick era despite its flaws.
❤❤❤❤

Iginnio just cares more about money than the show’s integrity and Nick is getting way too much of the blame. He has openly talked about how Cocomelon is the biggest and most profitable children’s show and how he wants to compete with it. He likely got advise from Nick Jr’s team on how to appeal to that demographic and he went all for it.

As someone who grew up watching the nick version of winx , I wanna thank you so much by defending it , it’s not perfect yes , but it’s so overhated , like half the problems fan noticed the show had in later seasons, they also should say about earlier seasons or in the first movie you talked about cutting the rest of girls out would change nothing about the movie , and yes I agree valtor is VERY overrated!!!!! But again thank you so much for making this ❤❤❤❤

Did you forget to mention some of the episodes were excluded in the specials, such as:
- The school dance
- Blackmud swamp
- Stella's "date"
- Winx sneaking into Cloudtower
- The day of the rose
- The water nymph episode
- And who could forget the "Miss Magix" episode
And the list goes on...

OMG defense for the best dub in the history of the franchise?? the world is HEALING!! 🧡🧡🧡

THE MORGAN DECKER SCREAM!!! She really paid her rent in 2011

44:44 umm omg?? I've never heard this? if this were included, my opinion on her arc this season would have totally changed

55:15 I agree 100%!!!

I completely agree, the specials are wayy too overhated. I am biased as well, but just because they're summaries of S1 & 2, doesn't mean they're inherently bad! In some cases, they made better changes (like the Diaspro exhibition thing, etc. For what they are supposed to do, I think they get the job done. I also think most of my critiques for it are about the OG plot, like how Mike & Vanessa hid from Bloom that she was adopted.

I am with you 100%!!! Nick era OUTSOLD!!!🧡🧡🧡
