As a Tecna fan - kindly shush, she was the cool one. She literally sacrificed herself to save the universe and then found a way to survive in ice hell

Aisha was a dancer and Bloom was a weird art kid. The fact they eliminated that in the later seasons is sad. I personally love World Of Winx being more character focused, having improved animation and a somewhat interesting twist on fairytales. And I like that it’s disconnected from everything else too.

Also the transformation in season 6 is called Tynix— as in tiny 😅💙

Tecna is the best winx by Virtue of not being regularly stupid

Layla/Aisha really got done dirty. I think it was meantioned that she hates or is scared of the dark and then she gets turned blind. I mean, it gets fixed in the next episode (like almost everything), but you'd think that's a traunatic experience. She then gets given a boyfriend/fiancé/husband who becomes the only character to fully die and never come back in any form. Girl faces this shit only to be left in the sidelines for all of the later seasons...

"No one is fan of Tecna..." OH HELL NAH, You will not insult best girl like that

Knocking Tecna.... but also grabbing her hair style.

without tecna they would still be asleep on that island in season 1

Layla slowly became Flora’s original color, and Flora shifted races immediately.

This dub makes everything feel unhinged. Everything from the odd one-liners the Techna’s British accent 😭😭😭

as a professional animator just want to chime in: lots of shows are flash animated (it's called adobe animate now). the new animaniacs is flash-animated. the drop in quality you're seeing isn't because it's in flash, it's because they're over-using tweening (short for in betweening: basically animating fewer frames and having the software automate more, but as you can see the automation is bad). you can search 'animation tweening' for more info about this process. we associate this look with old newgrounds animation because they used a lot of tweening as well since they didn't have the time and/or knowhow to animate real inbetweens.

Yk, this video mentally hurt me, bc in the season six Stella wasn't out of nowhere fahionista, she was one already in season one, Aysha is supposed to be the sporty one? And Bloom is truly a blank slate, but she used to be an artist in the begging

I know this is meant to be a humorous recap but I need to talk about season 1's Diaspro episode and consequently Bloom leaving the school. When I was a kid I got so much second hand embarrassment from the Diaspro episode but rewatching the show now I understand that actually it's not just funny Bloom being confused hijinks - it's a plot point of how the trix have tormented her so much she come after her in so many different ways that she's starting to lose her grip on reality. This is a very real thing that happens with abuse, and I love how the show handled it, how Bloom left the school because she felt guilty for what happened with Diaspro and she wanted to get away from the witches, but ironically by moving away from her main support system (the other winx and the school) she just became a lot more vulnerable to the attacks of the witches. This is a kids show and yet they portrayed the effects of abuse so realistically, I love that.

For the record, seasons 1-4 have 3 different English dubs in total. One by 4Kids, another by a company called Cinelume, and another down the line from Nickelodeon. 4Kids only managed to dub seasons 1-3 which is what you what you watched for those seasons. 4Kids changed quite a few things such as names and plot points. The name changes aren't as important, but in terms of the plot:
-The term Winx was just a word Bloom made up to name their club. Not a source of their power
-Musa was never a princess
-Daphne never gave Bloom the dragon flame, she was originally born to be it's wielder
-Daphne is Bloom's older sister and original heir to Domino's throne before she sacrificed herself

Cinelume dubbed seasons 1-4. They kept most names and all plot points the same. Later down the timeline Rainbow made a deal with Nickelodeon to co-produce the show. So Nickelodeon ALSO dubbed seasons 4-6 and I think season 3 as well. They kept the facts the same as well. When you reached season 4 there's probably a good chance you were switching between Cinelume's and Nickelodeon's dub without realizing. Cuz ik for sure I did that as a kid.

And finally, all English dubs changed Aisha's name to Layla for some reason until season 5 where they randomly switched back. Her name was always Aisha in the original Italian version of the show

ALSO also, I would like to quickly say that Techna was fleshed out in season 2 as she tried to get in touch with her own emotions more as well as understanding other's emotions during her whole things of being upset with Timmy. Nickelodeon backtracked on a lot of shit in terms of their growth to lower the age target of the show. Her "development" in season 5 is rehashing her arc from season two only for toddlers in my opinion. Season 2 overall focused more on the characters rather than the plot which I can understand some people won't like as much so I won't argue against your opinion on it sucking, but you can't say the characters weren't fleshed out if you paid attention more. ESPECIALLY TECHNA! And I'm sorry saying season 5 was the best so far is just criminal

All girls are loved! That is why all Fans screamed: "Where is Tecna???" When the reboot was teased and she wasn't in it again. (But her 3d Modell just wasn't finished)

Theres's only one rule for everyone that watched Winx when they were children, or you had a crush on Flora or you wanted to be her, no other option

Aisha actually has something special:she is far better in sports than the rest of the group and even the boys

Dark Bloom changed my childhood

I don't hate the pixies unlike all other Winx "accessories" they do play a narrative purpose and play a role in the story despite being obviously made to sell toys. Each pixie complements their fairy and helps them in one way or another:

- Locket is the pixie is passages. She always knows the right way and can open portals and doors. Which is what Bloom needed since she was looking for answers, for her parents and the truth about her past. Locket is humble and a little of a scaredycat, which contrasts Bloom's impulsiveness (you can see that for example when Bloom wanted to try her "new powers" right away while Locket advised against it, and then we got Dark Bloom)

- Piff is the pixie of dreams. She helps Layla/Aisha sleep despite her nightmares, and her childish nature allows her fairy to act like a big sister, making her more confident since she has to take care of her and not indulge too much in her own fears.

- Digit is very similar to Tecna, but far more emotional, which helps Tecna be more emotional as well. Since they have the same interests and similar personality Digit can criticize Tecna in a way it doesn't comes wrong since the same remarks from other people could offend her or be wrongly interpreted.

- Chatta is the opposite of Flora, a flying chatter box. However she is the one who helps Flora be more open and finally confess her feelings to Helia.

- Tune is the pixie of etiquette. She acts as an older sister or mother figure that Musa didn't have. She cleans her room and criticises her manners. She is probably one of the reasons why Musa became more traditionally feminine in season 3. Regardless if that is a good thing or not. It's very likely Musa's tomboyish persona was a result from her losing her mother early and living in poverty with her bitter father.

- Amore is the pixie of love. She is just as of a romantic as Stella is, and probably more. For a person so deprived and yet eager for love as Stella, Amore is a great support and source of that love.

Digit and Amore are in my opinion the less well written pixies, but they are still good enough.

I clicked so fast before YouTube removes it again. Pls let it stay up.

the tecna slander was uncalled for
