For the record, I love the tau... I just think the kroot are by far the coolest part of the army

Can't paint orks wrong? Tell that to my purple themed ork army I can no longer find

The Girlfriend army is whatever the space marines are fighting against in the new edition boxset

It's Tyranids, the girlfriend army is always the Tyranids.

4:45 One small issue being actually historically accurate German Panzers didn't have that Symbol on them, they used the Balkenkreuz.  :)

AdMech are really rare because:

1) single most expensive army
2) esoteric rules that require near perfect execution
3) an absurd number of models
4) so hard to paint it becomes an excercise in frustration

Playing against current eldar feels like playing against a 7 year old who keeps making up rules on the spot to keep an advantage, and stopping you from even interacting with them.

Im sorry, someone saying “im taking a piss for the shit god” is funny as fuck, that had me dying

You play Imperial Guard because no one plays Bolt Action. I play Imperial Guard because I want my turn to last way too long. We are not the same.

My biggest issue with every 40k faction is none of them are Skaven.

Weirdly appropriate that his comments on the Death Guard are that A. The players are apparently really friendly and B. Are very stagnant and non-adventurous (in terms of their color scheme) both of which made me go "yeah, that sounds about right for Nurgle"

My gripe with Tyranids is that they are the "unknowable all devouring swarm of immeasurable number that will overrun and eviscerate their prey" and yet the best way to play them is to engage in very little melee and sit with 5 big bastards at the back and shoot the shit out of stuff and play a super cagey objective based game.

I sat for about 18 minutes juicin myself up getting ready to keyboard Warrior for the Necrons.

There's no possible way that they could say anything slanderous about my favorite Army!

"Why is reanimation protocols always changing? It's kind of stupid."

....F**k, he has a point...

No Nids are the gf army by far

6:19 that’s because they’re ungodly expensive for the amount you need, we’re all still waiting for Christmas gifts because we can’t afford our own lists which then take until next Christmas to paint. It tends to turn off people from the army. We also tend to be more hobby than competitive from what I’ve seen, I don’t even know how to play the game (I’m learning ok but I don’t have enough minis yet) and if manipulus is actually good I’m never touching it because of the ugly beer belly.

Raven guard are so sneaky, they didn’t even get mentioned

"If you write Harlequins beating Custodes you're woke" is a new one

AdMech are elusive because they fall into the sickeningly rare Venn diagram between “exceedingly hard to paint” and “not too amazing to play” which means if you’re skilled enough to make them, you’re probably gonna pick someone who performs better.

I love how the eldar get this rep of being so ridiculous and gamey whilst people don't see that you are always 1 misstep away from losing 500 points for nothing and going for a pint earlier than expected. Not an army for people without a meth addiction

4:48 the issue with that is that out of every historical army that had tanks they chose that one. They aren’t even 1940s tanks
