It's not exactly horror, but Fire in the Sky has one of the most unsettling and realistic feeling abduction scenes I've ever seen. It's so calculated and nonchalant, like it's just another day at work.

This Island Earth. I’m a retired electronic engineer from UK. The first day of university the head tutor picked on one of us poor students and asked why he wanted to be an engineer? He answered, I want to learn how to build an Interocitor. It turned out most of us, including the tutor, knew exactly what he meant 😂 😂 😂

"The Hidden" is gold! One of the best action films of the 80's. "Quatermass and the Pit" is another classic.

I love that you mentioned Communion.

In the Hidden, the older guy who steals the car is Norman Alden, who voiced Aquaman in the 70s Superfiends cartoon series.

Xtro will always be my favorite alien horror movie

5,000,000 Years to Earth (Quatermass and the Pit) is one of my favorite movies. Great ideas!

Excellent job. This island earth is easily a classic but communion is a masterpiece 😂❤

Lol I almost spit my coffee out when you brought up how deep a voice the guy has in This Island Earth.

I have seen this movie many times on Svengoolie, and I'm glad you included it. It really is a very good movie.

The recent version of Color out of Space with Nic Cage had some great tension and atmosphere.

19:30 Tom Atkins is so bad ass. And still with us at 89!😊 What a legend.

Always love seeing a new video on this channel. Good work, my man.
There's a weird 80's British alien horror called Xtro. Its not a great film but its a good little exploitation shocker. As a kid, I remember being scared by the video box back in the 80's. Well, when the video shop went to dvd and sold off all their vhs, i bought the actual tape that scared me as a kid. Its sitting right there on my bookshelf 😄

This Island Earth has so many 1950s sci-fi actors in it its crazy. Slow build though.

“Ash” is basically a remake of Roger Corman’s “Galaxy of Terror”. That being said, it’s not a bad movie if low budget, sci-fi horror is your thing.

Couldn't agree more about Life. I think it's really underrated..

"The Hidden" is an incredible movie!!!!

I saw Quatermass and the Pitt under the title 10 million years to earth. Loved this movie.

Awesome you gave a shout out to Communion. Agree, it's an under-appreciated gem and beside The Dead Zone, might be the quintessential Walken performance.

I first saw "Quatermass and the Pit" in the mid-70's on TV as a child and it scared the hell out of me. Years later I found the laserdisc and the metaphysical/evolutionary ideas really struck me. The original TV serial from 1958/59 is great and well worth seeking out on DVD or Blu Ray.

The alien movies I enjoy are the horror-comedy flicks like NIGHT OF THE CREEPS that you mention, and SLITHER and the cult classic KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE. Good video as always. That HONEYMOON looks like one to check out.
