Yes, 'Pumpkinhead' in an absolute classic Eighties horror movie, and was indeed the only movie Stan Winston ever directed. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of 'A Gnome Name Gnorm'.

I am one of those lifelong monster kids. Awesome list!

Loved the shout out to "Dragonslayer". I agree, that dragon is still one of the best to be seen on screen. I saw this flick as a kid, and it really drove home how scary a dragon could be. Great list overall. Keep up the great work.

I showed Pumpkinhead to a friend who hates horror. He was so drawn in by the characters and acting that he went out and got a copy for himself

Monster Kids Unite!! 🤘

DragonSlayer is one of my favorite films ever! Appreciate the love shown to this underrated classic!

I was living in Northern Kentucky when several sightings of The Frogman, were happening, for real.

Yessss! …. Finally someone talks about Prophesy!!! …. I loved this movie so much 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for including Dragonslayer! One of my childhood favorites.

Ahh, Prophecy! When i was a kid, i really loved horror movies. Especially monster movies. I caught the last like, 20 minutes of this movie on tv and was OBSESSED with finding it or catching it on tv again! Sadly because i only caught the end of the movie, i had no idea what the name of it was until FINALLY i was up late one night during summer vacation when i was like, 13 and this movie came on. I was able to catch it from the beginning this time and was EXSTATIC to discover this was the movie i had been looking for. It really is a classic and i wish more people would talk about it.

Cobwebs: “I want to see the monster!”

Me: Adds Frogman to watchlist

Amen to "I would rather see the monster"...I know what's in my head, I'd rather look into someone else's nightmare.

Vermithrax Pejorative is still to this day, the best on screen dragon ever created. The movement, the sound design, especially when she takes in a deep breath before letting loose with her fire breath. The way she uses her wings to crawl through the caves. The sound when she’s flying. It’s still amazing.

I absolutely LOVE Deep Star Six!

For me, The Reptile is one of my favorite hammer horror flick of 1966.

Dragonslayer is a classic, Pumpkinhead too and The Deadly Spawn is great fun.The Reptile is Michael Ripper's finest hour( he's the hero)

I LOVE Dragonslayer! Great pick!

For those who know: "Doomed! We're all doomed!" 😁

I was really surprised by the Gorge too. Me and my wife loved it. Very creative ideas.

regarding the reptile, the Scottish character is Private James Frazer from the classic UK sitcom Dad's Army, portrayed by John Laurie, a much-loved actor here in Blighty.
