Watching someone listen to Hybrid Theory for the first time is such a treat

Life is split into 2 parts.
1. Before listening to Hybrid Theory
2. After listening to Hybrid Theory

The combo of Mike Shinoda rapping and Chester Bennington singing his absolute ass off was so insane and their music will always hold up

HYBRID THEORY is the #1 selling rock album between 2000 and 2010.

It's also the #3 selling debut album of all time.

It’s wild to me that some people have never heard of Linkin Park

It's fucking heartbreaking hearing someone ask about Chester as though there's an artist for them to look out for in the future. R.I.P Chester, you'll always be remembered.

Watching another black guy listening to Linkin Park for the first time is making emotional, no lie. These were my favorite musicians growing up. I got made fun of a lot for listening to them. No one else listened LP, but their music helped express what I had a hard time expressing and really helped me get through that really dark time in my life. I really don't know what wouldn't happened w/o them. RIP Chester.

Quite possibly the best debut album of all time.

brother decided to take a music break and immediately chose to give a 10/10 album a first listen

Hybrid theory is one of the greatest albums of all time. I think something like 11 or 12 songs from the album charted in the top 100. Insane work for a debut album.

I love watching people have an entire existential crisis listening to albums for the first time 😂

Hybrid Theory is proof that it wasn't just nostalgia for the reason it being so good.

Rip Chester. I'm probably still alive because of this album tbh.

I remember seeing an interview where Chester and Mike said they were allowed to do whatever they wanted on hybrid theory because the record executives didn’t think they were any good and would fail. But they blew up and spoke to an entire generation of angsty teenagers.
