Can’t wait for the hobbit $1000 booster box game.

To be honest, the reason I love those booster box videos is just to listen to the professor ramble

me back then: “Don’t do drugs kids, have some hobbies, like playing card games”
me today: “just do drugs kids, it’s a lot cheaper”

Prof: We didn't say the 'r'...
My brain: for 'eal

Dang, 500$ … I remember buying entire video game consoles for 500$ or less

I'll be honest, I'm surprised Spider-Man boxes are still that much.

Unless you go to my local GameStop where they still want $500 for a Spider-Man collector booster box. They may sit there forever.

I can fill up the gas tank of my car SIX times for the cost of a Marvel Super Heroes Collector Booster Box.

Honestly I just watch these to see the cool cards so I don’t have to buy these packs myself

I really enjoyed the comic book panel versions of the saga cards. As a Marvel fan and comic book reader, I like the added style and reference to the story.

The reason there are X-Men Characters in this set is due to them being Avengers at some points in time. Beast and Wolverine joined while Storm became the Black Panther's wife.

I would take every single comic treatment card. I know they don’t look authentic, but as a lifelong marvel fan, I love seeing them applied to the cards in that way. Especially anything with Alex Ross.

When you get a 100$ card and are still negative 100$ after opening all the booster boxes, it says all about how expensive things are...

@icekingjames8791 3 months ago

You got to love how all the cards he did not like are from the comic books 😅

I would love a Professor's predicted total next to the real total. Would be super fun to see the comparison. Particularly as it shifts through the video. (Ok this clearly wouldn’t work given he’s reminiscing a lot and doesn’t do the price guessing (as it should be) but would still be fun to see his total even without every card getting a price).

Prof, you totally right, yo! This highlights how much at least rules text borders create the look of Magic. Without them it looks like a different, cheaper game

@Ozydamians 3 months ago

Prof thinking that having Storm, Wolverine, and Beast in the Avengers set has made even any dent at all in the potential well of mutants for the X-Men set made me chuckle

When you put together all the different ways cards can look at 10:32, they really looked like they could've been from like 4 or 5 different TCGs. You're totally right; it looked so much better and stood out more when you had all the normal cards and the one Hulk comic card, because it actually feels unique.
