I hope the folks who make the pauper magazine watch this video. That's so cool

I know you always say that you worry these are too rambly or not as engaging, but these are some of my favorite videos you make - where you just riff and share your honest thoughts. Your love of the game always comes through so clearly during these videos. Thanks for continuing to make them!

I gotta be honest when I do watch these. Half the time, I'm not even watching, I'm listening. It's you telling your experiences in magic that I love, and that gets me excited because it makes me remember my experience with magic. Like I knew about magic when it first came out, and I really wanted to get into it. My parents thought it was too difficult for me at the time, but I do remember my first two cards were firebolt and Wrath of God. I still have the first deck list my friend Nick Kane gave me.

micro center removed the purchase limit so people at my micro center were buying 3+ boxes and i got 0 even though we were lined up before the store opened!! yay!!!

in January (2026) i started an exchange study in Finland (I am Dutch), Kokkola , and this place called Vinge has a MTG day every Sunday which has helped me stay connected to other humans so much. Magic really is gathered best together, and i am so happy for it

Did someone say Pauper? 👀 See y'all at Paupergenesis!

I appreciate you doing these to reinforce my decision to buy singles. I got a pair of regular boxes for Strixhaven knowing that it was going to be a loss. However one of them had literally $25 of cards in it., I'm willing to take a 40-50% hit on buying a box for a set I like, but not an 80% one.

18:19 prof in a very serious tone talking about important things see full art dragon "ouuhhh Silverquil". It's always fun to see the excitement for a cool card.

I am no longer a player or collector of magic. I had developed an addiction to cracking packs like it was the lottery and spent way too much money on it. Prof is about the only Magic channel I watch/listen to because I love hearing his stories and experiences while he's opening packs. It makes me remember the great times I had while playing before all my local game stores closed. Thanks for the memories Prof!

I recently moved across the US less than a year ago and I made many of my now good friends from my LGS after going solo to the open play commander nights. now we hang out multiple times a week. just went to pre release together and it is one of the best sets Ive played! 3rd spaces are so important and I am so happy that I have made great friends through this amazing game!!
