Needful Things and The Dark Half are must watches

In the Tall Grass I found enjoyable. I enjoy your content my friend.

I read the green mile when it first came out and the ending made me cry.

Another great tier list, Nick. One of my fave King adaptations is Cronenberg's The Dead Zone. Christopher Walken is great - in fact the entire cast is amazing. And that ending - so bitter sweet and emotional. Of the Kings you haven't seen, The Dark Half is well worth checking out. Romero finally gets to adapt a King novel and again another fantastic cast including Timothy Hutton doing dual acting duties in the lead.

Salem's Lot 1979 will always be my GOAT. It's perfect in every conceivable way, not only my favorite Stephen King adaptation, but one of my favorite horror movies (I know it's a miniseries lol) of all time. It's... PERFECT.

I'd LOVE a new miniseries adaptation of Rose Red! ❤

Glad to see Silver Bullet getting love. A daunting task and you met the challenge!

Finally someone who likes IT Chapter 2! I really loved it when it came out :D

Maximum overdrive equals absolute cinema

Dolores Claiborne is definitely worth your time. Not so much horror as it is a psychological thriller murder mystery... drama. It's a great film with great acting.

The best thing about the Night Flyer is Miguel Ferrer.  I adored that man, and he always put everything in his performances.

Creepshow 2 "The Raft" is one of the first things I remember terrifying me as a kid and kickstarted my love for King. Shortly after Zelda would be terrifying me and haunting my nightmares in Pet Sematary

Apt Pupil is a must watch, and must read. Chilling.

I am glad you did this one, there are a few that I haven’t watched and some that I now want to revisit. The Green Mile is so good and I want to watch it again. It makes me cry so hard though 🫤. Good job Nick.

Isaac's death in Children of the Corn is probably the funniest damn thing I've ever seen 😂

Maximum Overdrive should be a required watch for the mere fact that it’s King himself directing.

Rose Red is not a Stephen King Story, it is an adaptation of another authors novel who's name escapes me at this moment. Stephen King wrote the screenplay just as he did for Storm of the Century. Both are great films I am not knocking them.

I wish more people understood that good, successful adaptations are not always exactly 1:1 with the source material. It always makes me cringe when people say Kubrick’s Shining is a bad one simply because it’s so different from the book.

The ending of The Mist would not be as powerful if Darabont stuck to King’s original more ambiguous idea. It is ultimately all about translating the essence of the story into a visual medium. Sometimes that means turning it into an entirely new experience.

Moonlight Man from Gerald's Game is absolutely terrifying in the book. The chill that went up my spine while reading it. 😳 😰

Nick, I agree with the top of your list except I would flip Christine and Carrie.  Two more great movies not on the list were Storm of The Century and Sometimes They Come Back!  Great list and keep them coming!!
