1994s The Stand; a four part miniseries that’s about 6 hours long. (A lot of the corpses in that remind me of these ones; you can tell both are from King in a relatively close time)

Yes!  Rose Red is King firing on all cylinders, absolutely love it

Funny story, I'm pretty sure I watched this one day as a kid when I actually WAS home sick from school.  Wild.

I love Spooky Eleven Did It First 😂
I realized after listening to an explanation of the book The Haunting of Hill House that it REALLY seems similar to it, which makes me want Mike Flanagan to remake Rose Red too.

I agree with the assessment of Rose Red. Julian Sands, the English dude, died later in an unexpected turn of fortune.

Yea we all saw it once. And still remember it. The most horrific haunted house ever.

I still have the dvds for this series.

Rose Red is also on Hulu for those interested who get ads on YouTube, but have noads on Hulu.

One of my all time favourites since I was a kid, we watched it only a few weeks ago haha 👌🎉

Me and my sister loved this miniseries

One time I stayed home from school in the 5th grade and my mom put on horror movies. One of my favorite memories.

Annie’s actress was also in the Halloween Town movies.

The "Wii lad" fucking killed me

Rose Red was an amazing mini series.  I loved Annie.  She was by far my favorite physic.  Joyce’s obsession with the whole thing (Ellen, the house the family history) was really strange.

I enjoyed this series when it came out. I think I have it on DVD somewhere. I've read several commenters cite The Haunting of Hill House. I recently watched a doc on the real Winchester mansion (IIRC); it definitely seems as if this is quite an inspiration, e.g., the woman homeowner constantly adds to the house, people actually did die during its construction, and some reported supernatural activity.

This is my favorite miniseries of ALL TIME. I've watched it hundreds of times so far. 🌹

This was one of my favorite mini tv series! It’s so under appreciated

Excellent under the radar KING mini-series. (Storm of the Century too!).

I love Rose Red it kinda works like adaptation of Shirley Jackson book The Haunting of Hill House!

Emery was always my favorite, too.
