Where should I start reading Stephen King? What's the best way to get into Stephen King? What order should I read Stephen King?

If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions, a simple answer could well just be the most simple; read them in chronological order! But, do you what that list might look like? If not, I can help!

In this video, I'll run through Stephen King's entire bibliography in chronological order. I'll give you a brief, spoiler-free synopsis of the plot for each AND I'll give you one word that associate with that book. Enjoy!

Update: I totally forgot about Roadwork 😬 it came out in 1981, so would slot in just after Cujo, and was another Bachman book. Sorry!

Just got into SK and so far I've read Carrie and am halfway through Salem's Lot. I'm loving it so far and I can't wait to continue the King journey!

Love your vintage paperbacks. Long ago in 1997 when I read my first King novel (The Stand) I instantly became a fan and struggled with the question of what order to read his books in. I decided to go semi-chronologically and read most of his early books first, but also jumping ahead at times to get a sample of his books in other eras.

Be interesting to see a chronology in the order he wrote them not the order they were published. All the individual short stories would also be in the order he wrote them not the order they were put in collections for publishing. In the end a single list of his entire work in the order the were written, each and every story long or short.

I’ve just got hooked on Stephen King this last month and I’ve already read 5 of his novels. I’m going in chronological order and this is the best video I’ve seen to demonstrate it. Unbelievable collection. I just want to mention you forgot Roadwork in this list! I’m not looking forward to reading it because of the communities perception, but I figured id let you know! I believe it was published after Firestarter.

I've always wanted to see a reading in TIMELINE order. Like all the books you could get the dates/years of and just put it in a line from beginning to end. For example starting with the Jerusalem lot and ending in the jaunt or one of the bachman books that are in the future. I hope that makes sense lol.

I would you do a video where you put the books in Stephen King timeline, like what story is the earliest story versus what you did here which was release date.
