In a normal setting..... A SPONSOR would have dropped the team (or person) they are sponsoring like a hot potatoe. The fact that their "sponsor" dug in, in their support, says a lot.

Imagine being down 114-1 at half time and thinking you still have a chance to win 🤪

Pep knew. Wait for the Pepstein files to come out

"We didn't cheat, Abu Dhabi did!".

Yet you knew (the evidence the PL uncovered wasn't AD government files!), accepted it, and just spent the money anyway. That's okay then, yeah?

Absolutely laughable.

They should have a slow painful punishment..40 points deducted for the next 10 years and a five year transfer ban....think of the consequences...players would leave and they will end up out of the league

What happens on 11th Oct when the Sham play Liverpool? Do Liverpool protest on the pitch? How come they can still play matches?

Pep was also in the middle of the Barca paying refs saga too. I’m not saying that he’s responsible for any of this, but at what point do we start to think that he might be knowledgeable about what’s going on?

Aside from the ongoing developments, just imagine if the Premier League findings pointed to further evidence that warranted a separate examination of Manchester City under corporate, accounting and tax laws!

I’d like to think that the Premier League would be wary of THEIR sponsors dropping off if the integrity of the competition is further in question.

Why would anyone "get round the table and negotiate" with City? They're going to fight it to the end, so why talk to them at all? The punishment should be known soon and the appeal should end by April at the latest, from what I understand.
Other court cases for damages can take as long as necessary without affecting the league.

How amazing was Arséne Wenger then, who knew

I hear a lot of pundits saying the titles shouldn't be reallocated. Maybe let the managers and players, i.e. the people who actually put in the effort, decide if it's an empty gesture or not.

Was just listening to your podcast this morning and got the notification that you've dropped this a while ago.

What makes me so angry about the whole situation, while City are cooking the books and enjoying the riches and fake success, we sacked Gunnersauraus just to make ends meet! Shame on you City!

They fundamentally have no respect for rules/laws. They think/even know that we are stupid corrupt people

I left my keys with a neighbour a month ago after the other half thought we ought to in case we ever lock ourselves out.

Last week, it turns out it was a wise move 😂
