You have so many friends and they're all awesome

Great show, FK. Always a pleasure to have Laura on. I don't listen to TalkSport, just not my bag, and hope she does well. On the defeat to Brighton, they were brilliant on the day while we lacked that killer edge. Our transitions do need to be faster, which is the natural way to turn such a high press to our advantage. They were the better team on the day, deserved the win, but did manage to convert relatively low xG chances. On balance a fairer result of events that day would, in my opinion, have been 2-1 to the Seagulls. I remember the Latte show preceding and hating it when everyone was predicting the scoreline. I never do this - guaranteed kiss of death.

I've edited out my comments on the PM weighing in. He has since made a statement that I can agree with. I'd watched Goldbridge earlier and got really upset about the prospect of poltical interference. I've calmed down a little now. Cheers

When I hear "diplomatic immunity" I think about the ending scene in Lethal Weapon 2

The beautiful Laura ❤

On the Lehman Brothers comparison, the point isn't "you knew where you were." It's that the people checking the books didn't. Lehman used Repo 105 to move about $50bn off its balance sheet just before each reporting date, so it looked healthy on the one day investors looked. The commission found City did the same thing with sponsorship. Everyone knew the wealth came from Abu Dhabi, and that was never the secret. The secret was £830m of owner money booked as "sponsorship" so City could pass UEFA's and the Premier League's spending tests. In May 2013, facing a £9.9m UEFA shortfall, City produced amended sponsor deals within days, without even asking the sponsors. And an image-rights company the commission called "little more than a front" for the owner took costs off the books, Enron-style. The commission says regulators and even City's auditors never knew. That's why it's Enron and Lehman Brothers, not Lance Armstrong or Calciopoli - it's systematic and beyond sport into finance and corporate governance.

If they're not punished to a minimum of being unable to challenge for the title nor play in Europe for three seasons, meaning many of their unearned players have moved on (Pep nor Haaland would ever have joined mid table City) looking for actual glory, then football is basically over in England. It's just for sale to the highest bidder. No sporting merit need be involved.

On the political side. If politics has any impact on a lesser punishment, they might as well give Abu Dhabi keys to number 10 Downing Street.

Arsene who?
Hehehehe ❤🤍 COYG 🏆

Whatever happens, them being simply put in a lower league blocks the progress of another club, which I'm against.

All Hail the Almighty Algorithm 🔥☯🏆

If City do not get hammered I'm done with the premier league

Man

Get rid of all the greedy club's to a European super league... They should never have stopped it.
