And you are right Charles, this season is already seeming pointless until City are handed their sanction. The table isn't real until then.

If City aren't suitably punished, the credibility of the league is less than zero.

Letting them have any challenge within three seasons, completely removes any suggestion that English football is in any way sporting.

Totally agree about ESPN pundits, lived in the States for a long time, and they are total shite👍

The Odegaard update is probably the biggest relief here.
After that Bernardo Silva challenge, hearing there’s no serious damage is huge for Arsenal.
Saliba still being out is a concern though, especially with the fixtures coming up.
This international break has been stressful enough already.

In regards to the UAE and Manchester development as someone who lives in Manchester I think Burnham wouldn't want people looking much deeper into the business deals and sweeteners they have been given and the amount of money they have been able to extract from the UK through them. Doesn't reflect well on him at all and this idea that they have improved Manchester in some tangible way by building loads of empty luxury flats that no one can afford is absolutely remarkably stupid.

Hi Charles, at what point does it fall on the City fans & players to walk out / make a stand for their own pride and for the bigger footballing picture? It’s not their fault they’re in this situation, but ultimately they’re being taken for mugs and they can certainly send a message to the owners who seem to think they can just get away with it. Also is it a suitable enough punishment for them to just have to sell up and leave? As devils advocate, they should be made to stick around for the next 10 years of hard work and potential struggle to get the club back in a legitimate fashion. Such a complex and unprecedented situation.

Even if the individual has diplomatic immunity, they can remove the company, and the league can still ban them from ownership.

So Andy Burnham, if the Mafia invested in Manchester, it would be a shame if they are charged and dealt with.

You're 100% right on the ESPN in-studio commentators. Absolute clowns. I go out of my way to avoid the so-called "ESPN FC" due to their ineptitude.

Jimmy Saville raised a lot of money for charity but it doesn't excuse the terrible things he did. Ok that's the most extreme example of a crime but same thing, doing a few good things doesn't mean you can go out and cheat the world of football.

Diplomatic immunity shouldn't have any sway with the Premier league or the football regulator. It only shields him from criminal charges.

Pablo Escobar did quite a bit for Medellin aswel

You are right about those ESPN guys...the worst😂

The question now is who runs the league, Abu Dhabi or The Premiership it's a sorry state that's been allowed to evolve. Is it to late? I hope not for ALL our sakes, I feel football in the UK won't be the same again.

Cheers for responding to my Nicol
question Charles… I agree with you. Thankfully I’m based in New Zealand and not where ESPN is based!

Why is great arsenal team strong minded

The struggles of AWFC is very concerning but I hope Renée gets the opportunity to put things right. sacking her now would do more damage IMHO.

ESPN is awful, and their comment section is worse than the most biased club fan channels anywhere.

"The time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end."

This is getting very messy and the domino of consequences is staggering when you think about it.

Espn has to get rid of this awful man
