“interceptor” is basically police who are specifically trained in “Pursuit” driving.

I think you'd enjoy a channel four programme called 24 hours in police custody 👍

Hi Steve and Lindsey, the Porsche was lit up brightly because the helicopter was using a thermal imaging camera. The heat of the tyres glows bright white and the heat being reflected from the road surface makes the underside glow.

He was disqualified and still drove and he will probably do it again.

Fourteen years would be appropriate, given his record.

@sparkyprojects 5 months ago

On top of the 14 moonths, he was banned from driving for 5 years and 7 months once his current conviction ends
Not that it will stop him driving.

He will serve only half of that. A drunk driver killed a friend of mine and was sentenced to 18 months, served 9. Disgusting.

@karenm3822 5 months ago

It’s not a long enough sentence in my mind, he’ll only serve half of that sentence before they let him out to do it all again when he can get another car.

@grampstin9375 5 months ago

Seeing how much damage he caused & the potential for hurting people I don’t feel 14 months is anywhere near enough, he won’t stop driving after he leaves prison, he’ll just carry on as before

The British police generally do try to avoid killing suspects, often at great personal risk to themselves. It is a significant difference between police action in the U.S. and the UK.

"Doesn't sound like English was his first language" It's called a accent lmfao😂

"People like that shouldn't be on the road." Brilliant.

Believe it or not this was my police force for 10 years or so....many many moons ago. I was involved in multiple chases like this. You learn to manage your adrenaline rush. People have driven like idiots and tried to push others of the road since there have been cars.

I love how this unhinged driver never forgot to indicate during the chase.

Police Interceptors are highly trained UK Traffic cops....powerful cars, huge driving training and abilities! Thank God for them! ❤️🇬🇧

Many drivers who are stopped have already been disqualified or have no insurance etc.. They are the ones who really cause much misery and problems, but the full up prisons force judiciary to suspend the sentence....it`s a farce that should be sorted.

Did anyone notice that most times, the rear roof mounted blue bar lights were turned off on the chase vehicles, whilst keeping their forward blues on. This is to aid the Police vehicles behind them be more aware of what’s ahead on the road, instead of just blinding them. From what I’ve seen this practice has yet to hit the U.S.. But it helps….. a lot!

Here in the UK our drug dealers and criminals in general will rarely stop for no one or nothing, they will do anything to get away!

@marcjames95 5 months ago

The camera on the Helicopter is a thermal imaging camera, so the white spots are heat spots. It's used to find people hiding from police as they glow white on the camera.

4:13 police interceptors are highly trained defensive drivers who do this sort of thing, our roads are small and full so you have to habe your wits about you not to cause an accident with civilians
