I Was NOT Ready for This! | The Rocky Horror Picture Show – Sweet Transvestite Reaction

I genuinely had NO idea what I was walking into with this one. 😂

Today I'm reacting to “Sweet Transvestite” from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, featuring the unforgettable Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

I thought I was prepared.

I was not prepared.

This has to be one of the wildest, most outrageous and completely unpredictable performances I've ever watched on this channel. From the entrance to the vocals, the costumes, the confidence and everything happening around me… I honestly didn't know where to look. 😂

But underneath all the madness, there is one hell of a performance here. Tim Curry absolutely COMMANDS the screen.

If you're a Rocky Horror fan, tell me in the comments: what was YOUR reaction the first time you saw this? And what Rocky Horror song or scene should I experience next?

"I need to see this movie"
Yes, yes you do. Plus as a bonus, this is the perfect time of year to watch it

it's an experience you have to see the whole movie to understand. The great Tim Curry draws you in and never lets you go for the whole movie, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwickplay the not so innocent couple. Also stars a young Meatloaf. Very catchy songs that will live rent free in your head. a must watch.

Tim's facial expressions are superb, never matched.

That is the great Tim Curry who just passed away.
He was a great actor and vocalist.
The movie has been, and still is, a cult classic and is a lot of fun.
Don't miss it.
Thanks for sharing.

Tim Curry was a good friend of Freddie Mercury. Tim used to visit Freddie's place and help him tend his Garden! True Fact.

Rest in peace, Tim Curry! Susan Sarandon ("Thelma and Louise," "Witches of Eastwick," "Bull Durham" and John Grisham's "The Client") and Barry Bostwick ("Spin City" TV series with Michael J. Fox) are amazing as Brad and Janet. And a young Meat Loaf as Eddie has a cameo appearance and song in the film, too. Harri, you need to go to a midnight showing of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" with audience participation and recitation and sing-alongs and props. Thanks for sharing, Anne and Harri.

Tim's strut, his confidence, his expressions, his phrasing, everything is genius. Mick Jagger wanted this part, but Tim played the role on stage. So he got the movie...thank goodness!

I think this sequence is one of the most important moments in cinematic history, and should be on national registries, time capsules, spaceships, etc., as a breakthrough of self expression, pride and freedom. Mind-blowing and joyful when I first saw it, and life-changing for some in its day.

Tim Curry was also in Home Alone 2 and Clue as the butler. He was also in Steven King's It as the clown. He was a wonderful actor but he got is start in this film here. Oh yeah, he was also the Devil character in Legend with Tom Cruise. He just passed away at 80 on the same day as Dolly Parton did, they were the same age

If you have the chance to see this in a theater it is an absolute blast. I saw it back in the 80's and most of the audience was in costume and would get into the aisles and sing and dance to each song. it was truly a great and fun experience.
