Not a Ford guy but that is the baddest looking engine they built.

Listen, if the dyno room goes up, you will not need fire extinguishers, you will need a new building.

Stuck needles and sunk floats is such a beautiful part with Carbs!

Very interesting challenges for these experts.

HUGE AMOUNT OF FUEL STANDOFF, LOOKS LIKE IT NEEDS ANOTHER 2000 RPM OR SOME TALL VELOCITY STACKS maybe even better flowing headers.

Props to the owner putting that beast into a’56 T-Bird. That’ll get the blood flowing 😂

That beautiful Ford unobtainium motor. Makes me drool. Never has 660 hp looked so badass.

JUST AS NICK WAS TALKING ABOUT THE 4 FUEL LINE CONNECTIONS ON THE CARBS.
AND, AS SOON AS HE HIT THE FUEL PUMP BUTTON, I WAS THINKING THAT I WOULDN'T DO THAT WITHOUT SOMEONE IN THE DYNO ROOM WATCHING FOR LEAKS.
AND SURE ENOUGH, FUEL STARTED SPEWING OUT THE TOP OF ONE OF THE CARBS. I NEVER TRUST SOMEONE ELSES WORK.

MAN!!!!!!! That fuel mist would make a heck of FIRE!!!!!!!!!

If I recall correctly, individual runner carburetor setups, especially ones with short runners and camshafts with significant overlap were notorious for blowback fuel standoff in some rpm ranges.
