Day 1 of FL2K26 is in the books, and Brett LaSala wasted NO time making history! It hasn’t even been a month since Snot Rocket made its H-pattern debut, and already Brett and the team have pushed the new combination to a WORLD RECORD, running a 6.45-second quarter-mile at 233 MPH to officially make Snot Rocket the fastest H-pattern stick shift car in the world! The crazy part is they’re still learning the new setup and figuring out just how far they can push it. Of course, there was plenty more action throughout Day 1 as some of the fastest cars in the country rolled into Bradenton Motorsports Park to test, qualify, and get dialed in for a huge weekend of racing. FL2K26 is officially underway, and we’re just getting started!

Personally I feel stick shift is so far from being stick shift. Might as well have a sequential in the car. I want to see clutch shifting back in racing. Bring skill back into the race rather than who's car is more reliable. I get the tree involves skill. But I mean all the way down the track.
