Thanks for the video I have had my 2001 - 1150 GS for a couple of years now. You have reminded me to change the fluid in the clutch master cylinder, thanks . The ABS was removed when I got it. The motor is so sweet at 3250 RPM. The suspension on mine is well worn. It has 101000kms. I love it.

Tank internal fuel and ventilation lines, harness sheath, all seals, driveshaft (no longer available) final drive play, gear sensor plastic cover, the aluminium pushrods, these are the most common problems on high mileage bikes.And timing chain guide rails if they skip the tensioner replacement

a very informative video. You could go a bit deeper regarding the fuel system and ABS. My experience is to totally remove the ABS..not a big job, The small tube from the filter to the pump cost is sixty dollars. The correct hose in the tank is 5/16 id and 1/4 id 30R10 submersible fuel line . The small piece can be formed in boiling water and a forming tool. Laugh if you want but I have made and installed several.

Great video thanks. But, recycled rubber covered hoses & looms (if I heard that correctly) electronic gadgetry to meet legislative emissions and safety requirements, and trendy digital (allegedly) must have e.g. servo brakes, WTF are lower to mid income riders going to be able to afford to buy in the very near future! There’s going to be a huge pile of bikes at the dump that are economically unviable to fix. That doesn’t sound environmentally friendly or sustainable to me! Bit of a rant and keep the old stuff rolling along nicely. Just some TLC and happy days 😎
