reminder: hulk has a full grown son

Pre-encore old man Steve: nah my wife’s story is mine alone to tell

Encore old man Steve: not gonna spoil what happens next to y’all mfs lmao

I don’t think the scene before Loki shows up is taking place right after cap returned the stones, I think he has lived in that house for years as he is supposedly married to Peggy. Hell, the kid might even already be born 🤷🏼‍♂️

I feel like you're reading into that Steve scene a little too much. There's no indication the dance is literally the first thing he does in the past, it could take months or years after the fact. And like you said, we already know Steve got to enjoy his happy ending for a while.

17:44 I hope the canonical reason for Doom collecting Loki and Hulk is because they're all green coded

Ik Hulk tired of being slapped around and kidnapped

I'll be honest, I didn't see any of this as Marvel trying to tell us Doomsday was the plan all along. I actually kinda saw the scene of Loki arriving at Steve and Peggy's house as "something has happened that was so big that it had a ripple effect that changed Endgame." And the final Doom scene I felt like was more of a "if we had known at the time we made Endgame that there would be an Avengers 5 called Doomsday, we might have done something like this for the post credits scene." The rest I just saw as little teases for where we're going in terms of plot in the next movie. I think my preferred way to watch Endgame will always be the original release, but I'm glad that at this moment in time we got this version to sort of tease how they plan to connect the plot of the new movie to the events of the previous movie. It was a fun way to relive a great theatrical experience while also getting some hype for the next movie. I feel like they threaded that needle well.

No. The ancient one said remove an infinity stone and it creates a new branch. She doesn't say anything about someone using a pym particle.

I can’t believe that Marvel found a way to retcon an end logo 😭😭😭

10:51 a weird thing about this interaction between Bruce and Doom is that, as he sees the lights flicker and Doom showing up, he first says “No” and then asks “What are you doing here?”. It seems kinda weird to ask this instead of who are you and then what are you doing here…

“We had it planned all along guys we swear”

old man steve not telling sam about loki or doomsday is the funniest unintentional troll

I don't think Loki showed up to bring Cap back into the fight. He said he could help both of them. I'm assuming he's gonna move them to the Fantastic Four universe, where there isn't a Captain America, so they don't create any time issues, like people theorized months ago. He's simply helping them

I love how weird the whole marketing and teasing for this movie has been

20:58 my theatre didn’t have this, all we got before the movie was a greeting from RDJ and Chris Evans.

Calling it now, the Bruce Banner thing is a red herring. He's not going to be in Doomsday at all, but will be transported to an apocalyptic world where he'll become Maestro in Secret Wars. I think it's dumb honestly, but it's going to happen

my main reaction to these was that they function very poorly as end-credit scenes for Endgame specifically. We've got one scene that takes place after Brand New Day and two that take place after Loki Season 2/Deadpool & Wolverine. I was hoping for a couple scenes that actually tie into the events of Endgame and just tease at what's to come.

18:19 Wrong. Days of Future Past was not the last time we saw that timeline, since Deadpool & Wolverine confirmed that Logan (2017) does indeed take place on the same Earth as the rest of the Fox movies, meaning that canonically most of that universe's cast were killed by one of Xavier's strokes.

If loki dies again i might leave the cinema bro😭😭
