I SEE YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT FUM I have also made a post and will be mentioning it in a future video! i see your concerns and im taking them seriously and to heart. ive broken the contract, and will be removing anyhting of theirs from my videos.
When I was a bartender at a high-end restaurant, my manager would always tell us, "There is a guest here tonight who is treating themselves to our service. Make sure its worth it for them." Meaning that sometimes people came into the restaurant who can't always afford to join us regularly so we should make sure they are spending their money with people who care about their experience. This is the kind of service that no one should spend their money on, even if they can afford to pay for it all the time. Unprofessional.
For $4,000 Id expect a quiet and peaceful one-on-one appointment , and leave looking like my hair is basically AI or something. I’m not someone that would get an expensive haircut, but if you pay that much it should be immaculate. The audacity and greed.
I feel for her because she's so young and it's harder to be assertive in the moment, especially when you're surrounded like that. That salon picked up on that and ran with it. Not cool.
this is why us women need to unlearn our polite conditioning. no/no thank you is a complete sentence. i don't want that is a complete sentence. this is overwhelming me is a complete sentence.
I feel like these kinds of sales people target young girls through bullying and pressure to spend money they don't have. Its nasty imo. As a full grown woman, I don't see people pulling that on me anymore.
Have you ever looked at one of Chrissy’s videos? They honestly give me ANXIETY! There’s like 50 people inside that salon! Like 10 clients and 3-4 stylists working on each client. I could NEVER! Luxury experience where?? 😅 I wouldn’t even go there for free!
The “normal” (non-influencer) customers are paying for the influencers’ services in addition to their own and they aren’t even receiving anywhere near the same services that the influencers get, and which they pay for.
i’m sorry but no, if she has a specific ad-on that SAYS christy will be doing your hair, we should expect her to be the main stylist doing a majority of the work on her client that she charged MORE for so that she would be working on them. prices aside, i’m really surprised she hasn’t been sued yet.
Then they charge diferrent for each stylist but charged her/others for Chrissy styling- which is over $2k when she only spends1 minute or less on their hair...Thats an issue
I paid for a "luxury" hair service once : one on one appointment with a hairdresser in Paris on the Champs Elysée. Cut, colors and styling for around 300€ ( maybe a bit more, but not THAT much). I even had a consultation prior to it with inspo sharing, a consultation regarding my scalp health and she gave me my hair back at end to donate (it was super long and I gave 40cm long pieces). Spent a few hours there. I was SO happy with my hair !
If anyone wants to indulge in A-list celebrity hair styling, David Mallet salon in Paris is surprisingly affordable and such a classy and relaxing experience! She could have flown there for the same price 😅
I don't understand how both of these ladies ended their reviews with "but overall I was happy with my hair". Like whatttttt??? The first one wasn't even the right color and the neither of them had a good cut with proper blending.
