This girl did not know what she wanted in the first place. PERIOD.

Nah, she needs to let it go now. She got a full second service for free AND $125 back. Neither one will get what they want at this point.

This woman is giving me graphic designer/layout PTSD, clients who can't express what they want and expect you to read their mind and give them exactly what they see in their head, then feel like they can ask for unlimited revisions for free. A creative's nightmare, honestly. Also, the results aren't horrendous, but she's acting like her hair got fried. Girl, move on, that thing you're crying about will only last a few months. The stylish wasn't able to achieve your exact vision? Then don't go to him again. He spent so many hours on you, so much product was used, and you're demanding a full refund? Then says it's not about the money LOL

Honey and copper are also so different

She keeps saying she wants golden honey hair and when she went back to get it fixed she asked for it to be warmer but her inspo pics are ashy blonde?! She seems confused about the difference between warm and cool. Also, if she had described what she wanted as face framing highlights it might have turned out closer to what she had in mind ( again judging by the inspo pics she shared) She says that she never showed him these pics tho which is just wild. Always show pictures!

Seems like she's blaming the stylist for her own indecisiveness.

Girl, live and learn. People don't work for free. Communication wasn't great both ways.  You got a partial refund. Move on.

Wow this was so frustrating. They both weren’t clear enough but her indirectness and vague vocal descriptions were beyond me.

As a hairstylist who specializes in color correction, going from honey to copper is not a color correction. 🧐I think her hair color looks great and the stylist did everything he could to make her happy.

I don’t understand in what world highlights would ever be “low maintenance”

Yikes, glad I'm not a hairstylist - if your client communicates this poorly, you can't win!

This is definitely a case of an indecisive client that wanted blonde hair but doesn’t know anything about blonde hair. Notice how she changed her mind 3 times and was satisfied but always wanted more. Blonde hair is not low maintenance, babe. After you leave the salon, you have to maintain it or pay to have it maintained.

She's a nightmare client. He went above and beyond to try and fix this...

She didn't know what she wanted then was mad when he didn't give her what she wanted. It seems like the first process was well done then she wanted more and he did what he could to make her changed mind happy. Wanting a full refund is crazy considering the time put into this.
I agree with Robert that the words used were subjective and should have been definitive.

Hair color swatches would have prevented 98% of this...

This is why reference photos and in depth consultations are SO important. Everyone’s perceptions and descriptions can be so different. It’s a shame because this situation was totally avoidable and honestly I do feel like this is a mistake on the stylists part for not fully taking the time to understand the clients expectations. It takes 1 minute to find a Pinterest photo and be like “this right?” 🙃

After hearing just the beginning of the actual consultation, I already understand how things went the way it did
“We can do closer together, but just like, where I can pick it?”

Communicating through visuals is so important and is such an easy way to clarify, could have avoided this whole drama.

31:32 “I was always clear.” Honey blonde…no copper…more in the front…I love it…but actually I hate it…but it’s okay…but…”

Honestly I think she wanted "money pieces" and that's it and she didn't know how to say that and was so vague.
