Things are changing around here.

Incognito Mouse has grown more than I ever expected, and with that growth have come some things I honestly never thought I'd have to think about — being recognized in public, protecting my privacy and personal time, companies reaching out about sponsorships and brand deals, and figuring out what this channel looks like as it continues to grow.

So today, we're just going for a walk and talking about it.

I want this channel to grow. I want to see where this crazy thing can go. But I also don't want growth to change the things that made Incognito Mouse what it is in the first place.

That includes sponsorships. As opportunities start coming in, I want you to know how I'm approaching them. I'm not interested in promoting something just because somebody offers me money. If something doesn't make sense for this channel or for the people who watch it, I'm perfectly comfortable saying no.

And if I ever do accept a sponsorship, you'll know it's sponsored — and you'll still get my actual opinion. Sponsored doesn't mean positive review.

Most importantly, I still want this to feel like us hanging out, walking around, talking about Disney, life, work, and whatever else happens to come up.

Ickey, we cast and former cast members are a special group of people. We tend to think about people and enjoy putting a smile on people’s faces. You are a part of a unique family of people that enjoy people. YouTube is an outlet for you to show the deeper side of cast members and what’s in our heads sometimes. I appreciate that from you. Just keep doing what you’re. Sponsors are just a way to make this an even better experience for you.

Don't consider that it's "whining." It simply a fact of life as it is right now. I create YouTube videos because it's fun and keeps my mind active. And in regards to people who leave nasty or not so nice comments, they just do so because they are jealous of the success that you're having. Continue to be you and express what you feel because that's what people are looking for, not fake hype or irrelevant BS!

Hey brother … the thing that I like about your YouTube channel is that you’re down to earth, meat & potatoes and that the actual info you talk about is interesting and useful. I’m not sure if I’ll ever do it, but being retired … I have had thoughts about moving down to Florida and working at Disney … so the content and info you posted about your move down is cool! ‘Glad to see & hear it’s working out for you! Ickey. Good thoughtful and thought-provoking video. I enjoy hearing your candid thoughts and insights. I’m good with your ideas on sponsors. I know you put a lot of time into this and it’s good if you can get some funding to benefit you and your family. I hope it doesn’t change to nature of the content you create and I sincerely trust that you don’t want that either. It’s funny to hear about people reaching out to you. I was at WDW last weekend and thought that it would be fun to meet you and offer to buy you lunch. But I decided that would be pretty invasive. Maybe someday. For now, keep doing what you’re doing. It’s wonderful!!

I found your channel in early 2022 as we planned our Disney World trip later that year. I have enjoyed your perspective on Disney and random adventures of yours over the years. I've managed to catch a live stream here and there. I think I even commented on one when you were talking about fountains and you responded. I still love a good fountain. I can just sit by them watching and listening. Thank you! Keep up the great content and I'll continue watching.

You just have to do what makes you happy because life's too short. And we have to enjoy each and everyday to the fullest. Of course there are going to be extremely tough days, but we all just have to stay strong. If there are days you need to take time for your family, and relax and not even do a video or livestream, your subscribers will understand. You will figure out what works for you between balancing Youtube and family and just life in general. Keep up the good work, you are doing a really great job and I really enjoy your content! :)
