Tucker Carlson and a ton of other internet media "influencers" are propagandists, manipulators of public opinion on behalf of the new-age billionaire mafia and basically a psy op. Right wingers have been buying anything they sold from the beginning and now they're attempting to lure in more from "the left".

Imagine being so unhinged that you make J R Mogg look like he is of sound mind... That's a hell of an achievement.

As someone on Reddit put it…

You fight fascism not because you’re convinced you’ll win, but because it’s fascism.

Chamberlain's appeasement of Hitler almost prevailed and Churchill's championing of war was geo political not because of fighting evil, indeed lots of evil goes unchallenged due to nation state self interest.  Fear of unbridled fascism was the biggest motivation and prompted war, thankfully so😎

JRM exemplifies the old, (private) school, out of touch but very well connected Tory that Cameron bloated the party with. They are a reason they’re currently unelectable and will hopefully remain so.

Why are there letters in algebra is what I really want to know... 🤣🤣

What’s wrong with natural England and the environment agency? Imagine what the water companies would do without them to monitor their transgressions

Carlson can not be taken seriously..He once said he was attacked by demons in the middle of the night

Watching Tucker Carlson explain Russia and European security is like watching a man who has spent thirty years around aeroplanes suddenly reveal that he does not believe in gravity. It was parody on its own - and dangerous for that.

NATO “overthrew” Ukraine in 2014. Ukraine is not really sovereign. Britain somehow needs to explain why Russia might threaten it, despite Salisbury, GRU operations, cyber warfare and Russia’s rather conspicuous habit of invading neighbours. Every Russian grievance is treated as profound historical context; every Russian action mysteriously becomes something the West made Moscow do. It is geopolitical analysis with Russian agency surgically removed. It sounds exactly what Kremlin wants us to believe: Russia is the eternal victim. Always has been. Always will be.

The truly astonishing part is that Tucker presents this as scepticism. It isn’t. Scepticism means interrogating everybody’s narrative, including the Kremlin’s. Russia has a centuries-old imperial tradition, a documented military culture of maskirovka and strategic deception as well as a modern record of signing agreements while subsequently violating precisely the sovereignty those agreements recognised. Yet Tucker keeps discovering Moscow’s talking points as though they were tablets from Sinai.

I am hardly the president of the Jacob Rees-Mogg fan club, but watching him patiently explain deterrence, sovereign borders and basic cause-and-effect here is almost painful. Tucker has somehow reached the intellectual position where preparing to resist aggression is “provocation” while committing aggression is apparently a complicated cry for understanding.

At some point this stops being contrarianism and becomes an extraordinary refusal to learn.

"Otherwise we'd be speaking German" is not the best answer but I think JRM tried to form a humorous response amidst a profoundly ignorant gish-gallop from Carlson, the avatar of bad faith.

Tucker has lost his ever loving mind. He and Candace are two peas in a pod laughing all the way to the bank.

I'm afraid that is the American right these days: not interested in the concepts of right and wrong, just in self-interest and what they can get out of any given situation. You would think someone as loudly and publicly Christian as Tucker Carlson would have thought more about how that cannot be the foundation of a civilization.

The problem Rees-Mogg has is he was in government and achieved nothing. He has nearly all the right ideas on most of the important issues but singularly failed to deliver anything as a Cabinet Minister.  When responsible for the Civil Service he made a great play to reverse working from home. His action was to leave notes on the desks of senior civil servants, but of course they were all at home laughing at him so nothing changed. If he wanted to get people back to work he should have demanded their return, not played a silly schoolboy prank. He was too frightened to tackle the unionised civil service, thank God Thatcher had bigger cojones. His creditability problem is also that of the Conservative Party.

Tucker is an actual moron - either that, or it's a brilliant act!!

Tucker said with a straight face that he was attacked by a demon in bed recently and it scratched his back with its claws.

JRM views on YouTube show he's already doing pretty well on social media without TC.

Rees-Mogg is a delusional warmonger.

What is wrong with Americans these days, morality has disappeared completely.

I simply do not believe Carlson believes much of what he seems to imply in his questions. He is an arch contrarian for clicks. Jung would have a great deal to say about American Right psychosis.

There are many German Americans who give some credit to revisionist history. The British Establishment either don't or pretend not to know anything about it.
