I will never understand why LGBTQIA+ anything is frowned upon in education but religion is taught so freely. Yet people will still say that LGBTQIA+ is the thing that's forced on people. I've unfortunately never had queer people knocking on my door to talk about their 'religion'

Conservatives’ fear of trans women in sports has never been about protecting cis women. It has always been about protecting patriarchy. Patriarchy relies on the assumption that men are obviously physically superior to women and there is no way to bridge that gap. It’s something you’re born with. If trans women aren’t superior to cis women then that means that the gender binary is more blurred which threatens the idea of men as being superior. The very reason women’s sports exist in the first place wasn’t a benevolent gesture to give women a chance to win. It was a compromise to protect the egos of men who didn’t want the chance to lose against women.

It's just horrid how people treat the trans community and trans women especially. It's so good to see channels that speak up in support of them.

Sex ed is super important. It not only teaches kids about how reproduction works but it teaches about safe sex and sexual health while also teaching about what sexual abuse is and what it looks like. It's extremely telling that these "think about the kids/don't groom the kids." are making it easier for people to get away with abusing kids because kids aren't being taught about sexual abuse or sex in general.

Yes it's awkward but it is a much needed part of learning, otherwise we get adults like the ones we have now that know next to nothing about sexual health, sex and reproduction health. It's not grooming, it's education unlike all the pushes for forcing religion in the classrooms or "anti woke" teaching. Both of which is just propaganda and grooming
