‘Video game masochist’ is the perfect way to describe a speedrunner

"Not even close"

You're 46 seconds off the world record. In a nearly two hour run.

You did fantastic.

Jaiden needs a heart rate monitor for these speedruns. Both for content and so her friends can see the exact moment she has the inevitable heart attack.

10:17 that one highly detailed panel on an anime with a very simple art style

I could feel the anxiety during the Discord call section, they're having a casual conversation and you're having the fight of your life LOL

Jaiden: Practically dying. Alpharad: Joins and is like, "WASSUP!!!!"

I like how the "Jaiden as [character]" levels are so high in this one that Jaiden has to render two Jaidens in most scenes

12:55 the Wii U uses a newer television with HDMI, which the Wii uses component cable. Component is generally more responsive than HDMI meaning a run on the Wii U is a handicapped run.

Rhythm heaven has extremely strict timing windows. It's not for the faint of heart.

I never imagine Jaiden being a speedrunner as much as a person that suffers while timing themselves from start to finish.

"Started and immediately missed the first beat..."

What nobody knows about all those Mario speedruns is how many get bodied by that first Goomba before they turn on the camera. I call it the Pancake Run... cause the first one always comes out looking funny.

0:36 Jaiden you just smacked yourself with the wii remote (i hate that i do that every time)

I love the concept of Jaiden having a littleJaiden running around trying to confort her when she gets too stressed.

I’m sorry but “I feel like my ribs are gonna fall out of me” is such a great quote omg

"I thought about going for an all-perfect run"

Anyone who has ever played Rhythm Heaven instantly knew this was a horrible idea the moment it turned into a sentence lol

1:22 yep that would make me want to stop breathing…

I like how Little Jaiden has become her own character and has a physcial body that interacts with big Jaiden. Some of the stuff Big Jaiden and Little Jaiden do together is pretty cute.
Another great video with great animation.
