My favorite sidequest is the one where this asshole asks you to bring him a nosepass, and then reveals later that he just wanted to make fun of it because of how stupid it looks. And then a random Team Dim Sun goon shows up out of nowhere and calls him out for his shit and then just storms off without doing anything even remotely evil. Best villain team in Pokemon.

5:23 the binary code in the bottom left corner says “only nerds can read this” and now I feel like a fool for taking time and translating the text

Literally every pokemon in this game:

“Brøther, may i have söme L O Ø P S? “

@Kaijoru 6 years ago (edited)

“Called me noob and then dabbed, so I had to kill him”
Now that’s a real life lesson

Jaiden didn't mention that the reason why Team Dim Sun tried to catch Wailord was because they wanted to use it as A REPLACEMENT CARGO SHIP.

There's one thing about this game that Jaiden didn't touch on that I like. It's how close your family is to you. It really fleshes out the MC. During school, your sister sends you letters asking how you are, and saying the family is moving to be closer to you. And they do. After that, your family's berry farm becomes where your partner Pokémon wait for you. It's not just mom gives you a phone and new shoes and sends you on your way.

Wait, Wait, Wait, Wait! Can we talk about how in this game we actually go to school, attend an internship, finish school, get certified, and start working?
Of course it's not so strange if it happened IRL, but it is weird seeing a protagonist have their life so put together lol.

Notable quotes from pokemon ranger:

"I'll go back to staring vacantly at this cliff now" -npc guy

"Do you have the time to listen to me whine?" -goon like 3 seconds before the ending.

"My name is 'female student'." -female student.

Very Shady Guy
Terribly Shifty Guy
Seriously Sketchy Guy

Yeah these are some actually accurate names for once

9:34 I did that when I was a kid. I thought it was dumb that I did all the work and then had to hand it over for a guy I legitimately did not care about

People who played pokemon ranger know one thing:
RIP DS touch screen

@DarkFire454 6 years ago

My DS still has the circles etched into the touchscreen where I drew way too many playing through the Ranger games. They really are amazing.

I spent a solid 5 minutes typing out the binary at 5:20 And it literally means "only nerds can read this" I went through all that to be called a nerd

@tappyghoststudios8351 1 year ago

5:17 the binary text reads “only nerds can read this”

I mean, the storyline of Ranger series makes much more sense than being a 12yr-old beating an entire crime organisation all by themself. Also I love the fact that pokemon actually wanders around in this game instead of being tucked away in some bushes.
