The bus stop shelter… it’s so you don’t get soaked when cars drive by through puddles … it rains constantly here remember so there’s ALWAYS puddles

Hearing your neighbour breathing isn't the issue, hearing them breeding is.

I’m a former london bus driver. The bells on the pavements are placed on corners to stop vehicles from cutting the corners by going onto the pavement and endangering pedestrians.

You don't hear your neighbours breathing because houses are made of brick and cement not paper and wood

I can honestly say that I've never seen so much BS about the UK before.

Theres no wine in wine gums

Romanian here. So tired of all the Americans who rent the cheapest Airbnb possible n draw conclusions about how ppl live in a whole country or continent. It's funny when you f9rst hear it but it gets tiring in time. "No ac in europe"(in bucharest it gets over 40 celsius 3 months every year, of course we all have ac or we'd simply die; if you got an airbnb who hasn't,  don'tbe cheap next time expecting to rent here with 20 euros a luxury full equipped appartment if in your country you pay 250 dollars), no free toilets, no ice in the water, no good coffee (😂)... I'm tired of hearing all these bs... n btw most Americans I met had no clue what a good coffee is. They think some dirty water plus some artificial flavors dissolved in corm syrup make a good coffee. Yeah, we think differently over here. Sorry

Don't forget that here in the UK & Europe we don't live in fear over everything that you do in the USA.  It is quite normal to leave dogs outside shops as they are not allowed inside (except service dogs) generally they are also trained to wait patiently & quietly for their owners.    The monochrome Bedroom is just a suggestion and probably an advertisement.  Most people don't have bedrooms like that.

There is so much misinformation on this I don’t have the energy to correct!

Our fruit and veg are different in EUROPE because they are more natural, they have less chemicals in. Plus, a lot of American products have bleach and colouring which is dangerous. Americans are not used to FRESH FOOD

It's a bit ironic that an American would question the use of an anti theft device on a product in a British supermarket but think nothing of an armed guard standing at a shop doorway when they're at home.

The last one you saw, the bell looking thing on the ground. Its called a Bell bollard.
Its used to stop vehicles going where they shouldnt. Basically preventing you from running over pedestrians or blocking paths that should always be clear

Some more things that Brits have that confuse Americans:
1. A MINIMUM of 28 days (5 weeks and 3 days) BY LAW of Paid Time Off.
2. Free at the point of delivery healthcare and NO medical bankruptcies.
3. Strict Firearms Laws and virtually NO gun crime.
4. The BBC (paid for by that TV Licence): 5 TV channels and 8 national Radio channels with not a single advert to interrupt our listening or viewing.
5. A Head of State with, effectively, NO political power.
6. Food which only has additives allowed AFTER they are proved to be NOT harmful to health as against being allowed UNTIL they ARE proved to be harmful to health.
7. Despite the fact that Brits moan about it, a decent Public Transport System.
8. Public footpaths everywhere.

1:49 the stops are like that so you dont get splashed by cars who drive fast over puddles

I’m so confused about what Americans do in the shower? Do you just splash the water around so much that if you aren’t fully surround at all sides you'll flood the bathroom. What is going on? Why are there so many videos about Americans being confused about shower walls and wet rooms?

In my 48yrs on this planet I have never missed a tea-time alarm. Even when it goes off in the early hours of the morning, I'll get up and the kettle on even though I'll still be half-asleep. As for drivers, the smart ones have a thermos flask of tea on stand-by so a passenger can pour them a cup on the go.

Tradition is tradition after all.

You know that sink with the "scalding hot" and "freezing cold" taps? Did you see the thing that was on the sink? It's called a plug. Now, radical idea. If you have a small sink, and hot and cold taps, with a plug, you know what you can do? Mix the water to your desired temperature, submerging your hands fully in the warm soapy water.

Wait until he sees the pubs called "The Cockwell Inn" 🤣🤣

The law says that the teatime alarm rings at 4pm. The law says that when Americans ask us about it, we have to pretend it’s not real.

Back in the 1960s babies in (typically very large) prams would be left outside the shop while mum was buying things.  In those days almost all shops were small, separate butchers & bakers etc.  Shops were local, far less car use, etc etc.
