Glad you turned the contrast down

Setters Taking Critisism Challenge
Difficulty: V6

Bro really covered up his name as if he doesn't have the most Brandon aura of anyone on the planet

More contrast please

As a general rule for the average person, you cant tell the difficulty of a climb that is above your level.

3:48 Can confirm, my first time climbing slab I missed the foothold I was supposed to be trusting and then found it with my kidney instead.THEN I hit the pad.

I figure one important detail that was always missing in videos is the angle of a wall. Every time watching pro climbers climb I was like ah this seems to be easy until the camera turns sideways. If those comp boulders were on a straight wall I’d possibly have a chance to do it but they are not lol.

Colin climbs at my gym here in Broomfield; he casually flashes most V10's.  He knows what a V6 feels like :)

The video of Josh Rundle trying (and failing miserably) to send pro comp boulders, was very eye opening. Pros are elite, both at climbing and route reading

"Death grip with no technique"...
It's my signature style.

That "imagine 10.000 people watching you, well lets say 15"
That just killed me ❤😂

i had the opportunity to watch erin mcneice climb at my local climbing gym in malaysia. she would come by and literally send the second hardest route in my gym in a couple attempts. for context, i have a friend studying abroad in the uk and he flashes v6.. he took over 6 sessions to send that boulder alone to no avail before he left 😂 top tier comp climbers are insane in their own ways, dont ever say the routes in ifsc are easy

😳”That’s what slab does to you. It’s a degenerate style of climbing for degenerate people” as I sit here nervously. Knowing my favorite climbing routes in the whole world are all slab and YOU CANT CHANGE MY MIND

11:38 I love the pure, genuine joy you got out of that "your mom" joke

1:32 Oh hey it's me lol

I love getting my ass kicked by a slab climb and then sending it right before I’m completely gassed. It’s a love hate relationship, I love overcoming the challenge but hate working to over come it.

Slab climbing is love, slab climbing is life.

used to see Brooke Rabatou at the gym in san diego, no one climbed harder than her, best male setters couldn't keep up. What a treat to see her climb, like a fish to water, it was obvious she was meant to climb. Setters can def get jealous and become haters when people flash their shit too

The commentary on slab is a pefect representation of how i feel failing slab.

Perfect video for bringing back guess the grade
