Today me and ‪@WideBoyz‬ do our best to prove if Hollywood knows how to make climbing scenes, or if it's all fake. In the video we re-create scenes from "Mission Impossible 2", "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" and "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol". Enjoy it with your favorite bowl of popcorn!

Tons of thanks to Vestveggen Bergen Klatreklubb for lending us the wall and letting us shoot this, check them out here: https://www.instagram.com/bergenklatr...

Massive thank you to Victoria Biografen in Stockholm for letting us borrow the cinema for some of the shots. Fantastic Movie theater to check out if you're in the city!

Hey all, hope you enjoyed the video!
If you're interested in more videos like this one I can recommend Anton Fomenko's videos, this one is a loosely based climbing version of some of his concepts, so a shoutout to him is deserved here.
Also, heroic endeavor by Sebastian, he's the real MVP of this story.

It’s obvious why you couldn‘t do the 2nd one. You merely adopted the dark. Sebastian was born in it, molded by it.

Pete's 'Tom Cruise-close-up-face' is PRICELESS.

So nicely put together Emil. Had me chuckling this one! Thanks 💪

Tom Cruise really made our favourite climbing uncs do the banned ifsc moves😭

"there's this scene where Bruce has to climb out of a dark pit in order to defeat Bane, and I always found that scene incredibly unrealistic, it didn't seem like something that was actually physically possible. so for the past... 12 years, or so? I've been building a pit professionally, all in the efforts to throw Pete Whittaker into it and see if he can make it out"

I was really hoping to see a comical cutaway of you on the Dark Knight scene. You get ready to jump, cuts to Sebastian's successful jump, then back to you hanging from the hold.

Either way, great video. Wouldn't mind see more like this.

Worst thing about the Batman scene is that the wall looks climbable without the crazy dyno. It has holes big enough for bats to use as holds.

What a bloody hilarious concept. Legendary sidekick for this, couldn't have picked a better partner in crime. Acting wise? Pete wins. Hands down!

13:00 Toby from storror would be perfect to try this stunt. I think he'd get an even longer gap with ease

Emil behind the ladder taking his role so seriously kills me 😆

7:10 HAHA what is that face

I mean, I see some flaws here:
- for the mission impossible one you didn't include a scene where you're running, which is where Tom Cruise gets 90% of his power from.
- in the second one you needed real live bats. That's where Bruce got the adrenaline from. That, cave drugs and schizoprenia.
- for the last one you needed a spider man suit and cops waiting to arrest you once someone said the number "60"

12:40 this is soooo well edited 😮

The exaggerated arm fling at 7:26 is killing me, 10/10 acting from Emil🤣

- I'd like to rent a cinema for a video, how much would it be?

- Nah, just take it

The scene at 12.40 where you just fall into the abyss without a single noise made me laugh so hard - it’s Great 😂😂

Pete seems closer to Tom's size, so the moves matched better, but Emil 10/10 for emotional intensity.

08:11 it’s a little over eight metres in the film….and he had a wire pulling him up hence why his landing looks so odd, how he seemingly defies gravity to land. 🤷
