What he says at 6:23 makes sense. I also find it hard to breathe when submerged in warm water

£1000 squid, that's an expensive squid.

The evolutionary trade-off of polar gigantism is profound: virtually unlimited size potential due to high oxygen levels, but catastrophic vulnerability to even a minor temperature shift.

As a scuba diver you can even feel it. Going from warm diving to cold diving you can get more time out of a tank of air, and you breathe slower and can stay down longer. It’s really cool to have a better understanding of this because of this video. Much support, keep up the good work!

Being huge, smart and can see everything in the bottom of the ocean in zero degree temperature with nothing around in complete darkness, not moving and living for decades would be the cold HHELL!

Bob will help us leave the solar system.

Plab will handle the deep trenches of the ocean. What a duo 🗣️🔥

The density of the water at that depth can support the giganticism. The earth's atmosphere was a lot denser to handle the dinosaurs and giants, back "in the day".

Great video again ! i cant stress enough how the editing is developing over the weeks , not to mention the hand drawn art , both in the previous one and this one; and i have a really good suggestion (atleast according to me) , Make a video on the Congo River , and the disappearances.
