Ratchet & Clank Speedrunning's Most BROKEN Accident

Quitting the game completely breaks Ratchet 2 and 3 speedrunning.

Quit Exploit wasn't something we ever expected. But one day, it found us, and it made itself impossible to ignore. This video is a deep dive into how QE was found, how it works, and how Ratchet speedrunning was never the same as a result.

QE is an incredibly difficult concept to understand, and it's even more difficult to explain to laymen. Which is why I want to give praise to Isak and DoesThisUsername, for helping us understand QE. This video would not exist without you two.

I would like to say that all credit for how visually stunning this video is goes to my editor Shawn, aka ZeskyWheat. He learned After Effects in LESS THAN 1 WEEK to make this video. I am truly blessed to have someone as passionate, dedicated, intelligent, and creative as Shawn. He is the beating heart of this youtube channel.

I love memory exploits, it's always so fascinating when you can manage to write to memory through "normal" gameplay and absolutely nuke a games code lol

Speedrunners just casually breaking my childhood over their knee like it's Batman? I'll watch that.

I completely understand the name change, but honestly I would really enjoy telling people with no context that I'm the world record holder in nose.

Always wild to hear about Arbitrary Code Execution examples like this in video games. I mean, you're literally editing the game just by playing it in a specific way. Fascinating stuff.

As a speed runner, I though you would appreciate that 👃 is faster to say than No QE.

The comedic timing of "investing in hawk tuah coin" and having only 1 bolt is way too perfect

2 minutes in and I already learned something new. I had no idea that the Nano-pack even did that.

Editing in the video was super grounded but entertaining and your energy came through, your team killed it. Can't wait for the video on the Box Ghost from Danny Phantom.

I've learned it the hard way. I quit the game a few times without knowing and it corrupted my weapons and therefore my savefile at the beginning of my first NG+....
