Love it Brian mate, and you're a 'bit merr...' ae a historian than you give yourself credit for...😊 For even me, a child of the 70's and 80's, many of the pictures ring true, and are, in turns, both heartwarming and heartbreaking... The Barras pic? I know exactly which corner that was taken on, and with the famous Loch Fynne Oyster Bar in the background... I enjoyed countless plates of mussels and bags of 'wulks...' out of there over the decades until it sadly closed... Also, the almost obligatory snap of 'Dizzy Corner...', the big Boots building on the corner of Argyll and Union St, which gained the nickname due to it's historic, decades long notoriety for being where the hopeful would get stood up on a date, probably arranged in a moment of drunken madness the previous week in 'the dancin...' Superb as always Brian, thank you...
