It's funny just how much subtle nuance there is in this song that's lost on you while you're blazing around the track at 800mph and trying not to die.

"Show me your moves!"

Proceeds to bust out Big Blue on piano

The YouTube algorithm won today.  This was great!

It's crazy how good super nintendo music was

The melody line of this song is SO GOOD and so long and complex. So many amazing composers did fantastic work back in the 80s for these games. There was no reason for them to make 16+ bar long melodies, then play them ONCE and jump into another 32 bar phrase... It really contrasts with today's 8 bar looped melodies. Hell, 8 bars is even long for today's music.

And they did this on ancient bad synthesizers with 4 channels.

Big Blue sounds really good played a little more slowly. I never knew until now haha

Being able to sight read this at this speed is absolutely incredible.

Watching Phoebe Buffay actually playing freaking F-Zero's Big Blue on a piano made me smile so hard. Thank you so much.

If i ever hit the lotto, I'll pay you millions of dollars to make piano recordings of every SNES soundtrack from my childhood just because it gives me such joy to hear the way you play it.

I'm a simple man. I see F-Zero? I click. I see a piano cover of Big Blue? I thumbs up. I see someone genuinely getting into the groove of 30 year old Nintendo tunes? I gotta leave a comment! Right on, friend! Excellent!

Big Blue slowed down enough on piano could probably get played in jazz cafe setting without anyone noticing that they're listening to some 90's SNES greatness 😅

The joy on her face when she really started to get it halfway through was delightful.

I love how Kara breathes as if she is a wind instrument player - this shows an understanding of musical phrasing and timing and is one of the marks of an excellent musician.  She does this so intuitively I wonder if she even notices.

The difficulty of this game had me forgetting how good the soundtrack actually was.

I absolutely LOVE F-Zero music, and you did a great job with this!

F-Zero has some seriously good music. In every sense of the word.

Why am I tearing up from nostalgia? Holy shit.  Composers from this era were really channeling something special.

Just realizing Big Blue is probably one of my favorite pieces of music, period

Whoa... old school F-Zero... Bringing me back!  Love it.  Love your fun(expressive) takes on these!

Guys will hear this and think, "Hell yeah".

Awesome.
