My journey into watchmaking started almost exactly like yours a few years ago. I see great work behind the camera, razor-sharp footage, and a likeable person with a passion for watches. Trust me, you're going to be very successful on YouTube 💫. When it comes to mechanical watches, nothing beats practice. Keep it up – I’m in – subscribed! 😀

It was important for a military watch to be really accurate during the war. My bet is the army kept them in good repair with frequent servicing.

This reminds me of the Chinese parable, farmer & his horse. Sometimes our misfortunes are blessings.

Are you completely self taught? Its such a skillful hobby, very inspiring.

It's great to see someone with a different perspective on watches. We don't see enough women's watches on these channels. Your channel is a bresth of fresh air.

I like the videos where people repair watches and I'm glad that for once it's a woman doing it. Maybe you'll be an inspiration to others too!

I really enjoy your honest and open discussions on the learning, the unknowns, the anxiety and what lead you into watch repair. Thanks so much for inviting us with you on your journey!

I have worked on everything from bicycles to cars, boats, motorcycles etc and "small" stuff like model railroads, slot cars and RC cars all of my life (60 years). I also have a love for older/ vintage items, doing home remodeling for the last 30 years professionally.
I haven't worn a watch for most of my life, but recently found an older Seiko my grandparents gave me for HS graduation in 1984, still unused, with a dead battery? I found these watch repair videos and at first was overwhelmed, but quickly became fascinated with the inner workings of these tiny machines 😅 now I am headed down the watch rabbit hole, have purchased 3 new (cheap) Casios to see what I like to wear. And now I am considering getting a few used watches and some basic tools, just for fun 😂

I’m on the same journey, it drives me crazy but I absolutely love it.

Great Job.   Motivating yourself to learn such a intricate hobby, and then doing so well.    Not just working on the watches.   But.  Making the videos.    Your husband must be very proud of you.   Keep on going.   Fun to watch.

I'm retired with a lot of free time on my hands.  I've started watch collecting over the past year and have been toying with the idea of learning watch repair.  The YouTube wormhole brought me to your video and I couldn't be more pleased.  Your energy and passion is infectious and I'm hoping to be spurred on into my own journey.  Best of luck to you and wishing you much success in the growth of your channel.  Consider me subscribed.

Fantastic video.  You are so entertaining to watch.  It makes me want to learn how to do watch repairs.

Your love and description of vintage watches and the want to repair them is mine as well! I love watches that no one else remembers or cares about.

Hi Kachiri & Dev; I just finished watching a video where you completely disassembled and reassembled a machinal watch like and old pro!  Now I find this video 8 months ago when you first started watch repair. So in 8 months you have become another Marshal-wristwatch revival!?! How!!! As an old retired guy, perhaps there is hope for me at becoming an effective watch  repair hobbyist before I die! Love your videos! BJ

Just thought I would pop in and nudge the algorithm in your direction because you did me a solid. I've consumed countless watch repair videos with so much joy, but never decided to give it a try myself. To put it plainly, I don't wear watches. I'm an industrial mechanic by trade, so anything I wear would get ruined, but I love the mechanics that go into these pieces of art. You showed me that it's worth giving your passion the time it deserves. I just got done ordering basic tools and an st36 to get my feet wet. Thanks. Like and subscribe, she's a badass.

watching this video has inspired me to start repairing old watches as a hobbie! To see you wear a mens watch has opened a box of feelings for me! If i were a man, I would have a big collection of watches. So every christmas i gift a watch to my husband and sons. I looked at you and said "wait she is wearing a mens watch!" This video has made me realize my love for watches why I don't know, I just know that i love mens watches!

My new favorite watch channel!

Love your energy and story, feels fresh in this hobby! Keep going, can’t wait to watch your skills grow

Challenging goal + heartfelt passion = interesting.  I'm in!

Thank you for allowing us on your journey to greatness.

I started my vintage watch journey about 15 years ago and also bought large lots of vintage watches and repaired the majority of ones that were worthy of repair. Flipped literally hundreds of them. There are many that I kick myself for not keeping. It is hard not keeping them all. LOL I did however keep a Vulcain very similar to yours as well as a few Walthams and Elgins. Lately I have been on the vintage Seiko watch train. Welcome to the addiction...
