I PLAY ASTRA MILITARUM: I’m getting absolutely bodied and tabled every game. I’ve stopped trying to bother winning. I now role play my army as one of the 6 disposable regiments to be used as a distraction for the real heroes. I’ve assembled an impractical list. I now play with infantry guard and care not how much they cost. I theme my army after napoleons. I have heavy and light cannon barrages. I have howizers. I have heavy cavalry. I have light cavalry. And I have bricks of line infantry and blocks of grenadiers. I never win, I’m getting faster, I’m learning my stats and my rules, I’m on it with my objectives. I’m having more fun and laughs in my games than ever before. I’m immersed in my own narrative and the game is perfect. It would be nice to win, but under the condition that what I feel now doesn’t change.

I have ascended, I have become enlightened.

RIP Imperial Guard

Reivers getting a glow up to the point of winning tourneys is such a fucking journey. 3 goddman editions they've been climbing that mountain to be relevant

Nemo is taking a break from guard gw
You don’t need to keep letting them rot this edition

He can’t hurt you at Vegas with them again

I'm worried that people will see a DG win and call them fixed when the only viable strat is a skew list that requires 70 poxwalkers and 2 defilers.

@AriousArchaic 3 hours ago

Its disappointing that DG are only winning by outscoring via shamblerot mission.

I know it’s Legends but the Falchion Heavy Tank hunter looks sick af. I’m getting it for my list.

I hope everyone else gets a codex soon

*checks for Chaos Knights*. Disappointed Warhorn Tooting

I just tried out freeblade last week with purge the foe (now has access) and 5 big knights.... Hell yah!

Can someone please explain to me what makes that Ultramarine list so crazy? It seems like it would run out of troops very fast.

@Dr.FootDive126 1 hour ago

Kinda surprised not seeing DA here. Based on the buff for Lion and DWK as well as extra mobility from doctrines I assumed they’d be advantaged in the meta now. Wonder how they’re doing currently

@kingbonezai4925 3 hours ago

Curious on how you Comb through which tournaments used the new points vs the old?

@Dragonstriker-r4l 1 hour ago

Great
Now my salamanders army isn’t meta
Now I’m free from the chaser allegations

P.S. if grivis siege force becomes meta for us I’m going to scream

Imperial Guard? No no son you hit your head. This is the Imperial tank lot. Come now our 3rd command Leman Russ needs a new driver.

@sanguinaryangel8544 50 minutes ago

I wonder what the top lists were at LVO, i assume they weren’t in this video because of the rules cut off?

@andrewking8811 4 minutes ago

Not the freaking guard that's who

Two minutes baby

Games Workshop is well aware of the Astra Militarum's achievements and obvious win rate. That's why we've decided not to raise your infantry units another five points.

We've decided to raise your infantry another fifty points, with endless options for increases!

Those options, of course, being at Games Workshop's discretion, not yours.
