Victorious was a show on Nickelodeon in 2010 and went on to become one of the channel's biggest shows of its era, and it holds up even now. With the announcement of the upcoming Trina spin-off that nobody asked for, I want to take some time to reminisce about the original while sharing my thoughts on the upcoming spinoff. So come along with me and the homie @Childishju as we remember Nickelodeon's Victorious (and spinoff)

13 years later I’m still upset that Victorious never got a proper ending because it was such a popular show at this time along with iCarly and BTR. But the show is still a all time classic for kids television

It’s crazy that almost every main actors/actresses are still doing good in their careers.

trina is the only character that makes sense to bring back as a teacher, because daniella's physical comedy is peak obviously, and of course trina, who LOVES hollywood arts, is seen as a weirdo by everyone, would come back and be the beloved wacky teacher figure for a new generation. i would love it if in one episode, they brought back someone else, who treats her badly like they do on the show, and all her students rally behind her and we see that the main characters were always assholes to trina

One thing is certain: Trina was the best person to do a sitcom for.

P.S. The Slap Fight is the true finale of the show in chronological order for the karma that they endure ultimately, leaving Sinjin and Trina the victorious ones.

Trina coming back makes sense because Daniella Monet was THE Nickelodeon girlie back in the day, she was in everything and it's a cool full-circle moment. And yes, the Backyardigans are black. The creator is black, and I'm so glad she made most of the characters black-coded so we all got the assignment.

Andre is a legend. But I love Daniella on the thumbnail, that smile will never die 🩵🩵

If it had one more season, I'm sure far more people would have seen it as better than I Carly. It's one of those shows that didn't really get worse. It remained consistent throughout the seasons with season 1 still being the best and the most hilarious on rewatch. Very entertaining show.

to your point about ariana singing in character as cat, its pretty rare for actresses to do that. demi in camp rock looks like im watching demi, not mitchie. same with miley as hannah & so on

I was obsessed with this show, since it takes place at a performing arts school, and I'm a huge theatre kid. I'm still sad that they never got a proper conclusion.
