One thing that baffled me about these movies was that in the first, the songs only happened because the characters were performing as part of a concert setting. The sequel elevates this to High School Musical levels, where they suddenly start singing everywhere and anywhere.

One thing that always made me mad about this movie was the fact that Connect 3 is a world famous band, yet they didn't use them for the final jam. Fangirls would have voted for camp rock just knowing connect 3 were there. It's almost like they forgot they were famous.

“at least my mom’s around” MY GOD 😭

0:59 not you acknowledging that Cheetah Girls One World doesn’t exist 😂

Never cared for the Camp Rock movies that much either growing up but the songs CARRY SO HARD

"She's really good! 😃"

i just realized i finally came around to watching this video the day Camp Rock 3 came out

Oh we need a lemonade mouth video in October

What It Takes lives rent free permanently in my head

Planning to rewatch the films but one thing I genuinely hate is the first movie is about not being in the background or whatever but then in the 2nd movie, everyone else became Mitchie’s backup 😭 I mean, Demi was my favorite back then but in musicals, I prefer hearing more voices. The female voices (Alyson, Anna Maria) were absolutely wasted.

I agree that the first one is the better DCOM, but the 2nd is the better musical.

The fact that you didnt say anything about "I wouldnt change a thing" is crazy!!! prolly the best song in Camp Rock 2

been a dancer for nearly twenty years now and i guess???? that judging an unrecorded song by how danceable it is can be possible?? I'm not a musician and can't read sheet music, but if you have any experience in composing and producing like caitlyn supposedly did, you could probably know what it would sound like and tell if it's energetic or expressive enough to justify adding choreography. i could definitely be wrong but in this specific case it's not completely impossible! great video!

7:52 i just imagined how that wouldve gone down had she actually just responded that way and laughed for a solid 2 minutes

2:34 I remember watching Cena’s return at the Royal Rumble, damn 2008 was a crazy time.

Ngl, if you watch Camp Rock 2 in the prospective of Axel and Camp Star, you enjoy the hell out of the movie way more. Like the fact he was trying to get back at CR and won the battle but lost the war due the marketing at the Final Jam is entertaining.
If you watch these movies with  logic and common sense turned off, they are better than what they are, the weakest of the “musical” DCOMs but guilty pleasures.

something i noticed amongst both movies, they keep trying to go the "realistic" route and avoid giving the main characters the final victory. Like ig it works in the first movie but by the second movie, them going that same route kinda gives the vibe that they're mediocre. Like atp i would rather go to camp star

5 seconds in already a banger

0:53 There were plans for a Let It Shine 2, but one cast member convinced them its was better as a one off story.

I’m scarred for the Girl Meets World video 🫥

i must say the group dancing towards camp star was hilarious without music
