Jessie's Dad pissed me off cause how are you gonna marry the parent of the child that bullied your daughter, not tell her, and expect her to be okay with it?

Also also, he was so dismissive of Darla's behavior towards Jessie. She relentlessly bullied Jessie for years. SHE THREW HER DOWN A WELL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD and he's like "Oh, make up with Darla" "Apologize to Darla" when Darla literally started it. Darla has not changed since she was a child, and when Jessie understandably gets defensive, he acted like it was her fault. He cared more about his marriage than his own daughter.

Jessie should have cut off all contact with her Dad after this.

The pay actually isn't enough. Both Jessie and Bertram allude to being underpaid in SEVERAL of their dialogues. Not even involving the Ross kids, they're literally just paid peanuts.

Growing up with this show, everyone had their moments. Good, bad, ESPECIALLY CHAOTIC, but only Jessie and Bertram were the true stars. Bertram even lecture the Ross kids when they tried to sabotage Jessie and Brooke’s wedding!

it’s so funny that we’re finally acknowledging how horrible the Ross kids were. even as a kid, who’s friends loved Jessie, i couldn’t stomach it because of how they all treated her. they never learn their lesson, are entitled brats, defy literally ALL THE RULES, and even make fun of Jessie (constantly poking fun at her insecurities and background). i genuinely got so irritated at how disrespectful they were and would switch the channel whenever Jessie would come on.

Yeah I hated this episode Jessie’s dad literally was the worst. Not only did he not support her dream but then he married her bully’s mom. And then made excuses for the bully. ON TOP OF THAT the kids literally explode a hole in a wall. Like yeah I’d crash out too.

Ah yeah Jessie’s dad playing the “I choose to prioritized my relationship over my daughter so she has to behave and placate to my new wife and her daughter who used to bully her. After all my relationship is more important.”

Luke  was always going on about how much he loved Jessie but he never listened to her

I lowkey hated EVERYONE in this episode except Bertram and the lady he was talking to. Everyone else was hard rage-baiting this episode

This is gotta be the worst military base in all of America in this show. If 3 kids can just steal a military Jeep, 3 times with no effort.

Somebody got court martial for that for sure.

Ngl, those kids got on my nerves in the season 2 finale. She warned them like what, 4 times? And they STILL didn’t listen, like wtf?

As someone that was in the military, I was screaming as the screen the entire video. Like no, no. This shit would not be flying on a base! They would've been thrown off and banned, maybe charged, after that first incident with the B.A.T.! The dad would've also probably been in so much trouble.
On our base, at least, to get civilians on-base you needed a military sponsor, which would've been the dad in this case. His ass would've been on the line for all of this. Also, by that rule, the kids thenselves shouldn't have been able to get on the base, because Jessie nor her dad are their legal guardians and can't sign for them.

Bertram didn’t like his job or do it properly. They never fired him because they loved him.

By far the WORST episode in the whole show. If I was Jessie, I would've beat all their asses.

Emma was the only one that never drove her to quit. I think it's because since they're so close in age, their banter was by definition more about things people their age would argue about: typical teenage/young adult stuff. And they were all hilariously petty enough that it wouldn't drive Jessie to quit

I actually hoped and prayed Jessie would have married Brooks and went off to Africa because these kids took her for granted 24/7 and NEVER listened to her and practically told her and her fiance that they prefer her ex boyfriend over him, like how rude and selfish is that??? I liked Jessie and Brooks more than Jessie and Tony if I'm 100% honest
