Have a damn good Day!

“The amulet being used was from the Middle East but the prayers she was saying were from the medieval west”

The attention to detail on this channel is unbelievable. 👌👌👌

I don’t think Lilly was ever there. I think she died during the group’s sacrifice and the only thing inside is the demon just confusing everyone the whole time

If you watch the scene during the hypnotism, Lily is laughing and asking why Gus is acting funny. She doesn’t see the illusion, which means she was never hypnotized, and sees the truth of what’s going on.

How to beat it: Never deal with the devil

Moral of the story: Always be satisfied with what you have any never take any shortcuts like Jack Delroy did.

This is why you keep a priest in your bag at all times.

I personally blame the doctor for the events that unfolded.
She was the only one who is supposed to be experienced with that kind of things. Since she wrote a book about the Devil and work closely with a possessed child she should be able to pick up all the small details that scream "danger, we should stop" that all the others around her would miss. Like Jack she wanted also to prove her worthiness and her authenticity using Lilly. She was the one that F.... UP!

"what would you do?"

Die I'm not surviving

Also when christou makes contact with minnie you know its real because his accent completely disappears.

This is a Winchester level issue.

At 14:59 if you pause at the right moment and look in the mirror behind Jack, you can see the ghost of his wife in the mirror. A whole bunch of easter eggs like these scattered throughout the movie.

I honestly wonder how many people would have noped out of this taping as soon as they said they were going to summon a demon/ghost... I know I'd have been heading for the door pretty damn quickly.

Rented this movie on prime a little while back
Ended up watching it twice in the 24 hour period
Would totally recommend

Boy do you understand how fast 🏃‍♂️ I would be gone 😂

Moral of the story is simple: Never sign a deal with the devil. The devil never gives anything for free.  Also the bible says " What does it a profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul".

One of the great things about this movie is, if you're familiar with the skeptic/believer scene of the era, there are HUGE call backs suck as Carmichael being an Amazing Randy parody and the psi "scientists" who insist their research is real yet have no foundational basis (shown beautifully by the doctor trying to control Lily with two different mythologies).

Dude tryna bargain with demon using check, tf you think, demon gonna spend that money to buy lambo or merchedez? or buy a yacht ? 🤣

"large cranium man" is crazy 😭

Honestly, knowing the satanic panic that was going on back then I think he would’ve been given a higher rating, just based off of the psychic fainting and vomiting.
