When they opened the entrance door, and it became another hallway it's already game-over.

I like this kind of horror movie, the "villains" are unbeatable, but I don´t have to be scared, because I will NEVER, EVER, be hanging around anywhere NEAR an abandoned asylum!

lets be real, there is absolutely no chance anyone is getting out of that place alive

if the cameraman is scared everyone on earth is gonna die lol

I got the feeling the moment they actually closed the front door of the asylum, there was nothing they could have done to survive, as they were basicly trapped inside a paranormal dimension. To search for exits, doors or windows seems pointless if the building itself is possessed and changing, thats why studying the map also seems like a waste of time.

How to beat this movie
1: don’t be an idiot
2: don’t go into abandoned buildings that have spirits
3: get better friends

Listening to this while cleaning up my dimly lit basement was a BAD idea.

Nah dawg the moment the door was chained shut, night fell and they got those hospital bands on their wrists branding them as "patients" and especially when TC died, i knew it was a wrap.
TC was THE best camerman ever. Honestly the funniest character. When he died i knew there was no way they were gonna survive.

This movie spawned so many scary images across the internet

Imagine being cast in the movie and telling your friends about it, and then when it's time for your scene, they have pixelated your face. :D

This is pretty much like The Grudge:
You’re pretty much screwed the minute you enter the building.

Asbestos is the real killer in this asylum 😂😂

For some reason, this and part 2 are my favorite found footage movies.

Someone should make a movie about paranormal investigators leaving all the shit behind before anything happens, but when they thought everything was okay, the spirits start following them into their own home.

The spirit did a whole danm domain expansion

Judging from the lore of the movie, best way of defeating is by not entering the hospital. Fun fact, they filmed at an actual mental institution that closed down in 2012 and I know it's been used as a filming location by various Vancouver based productions.

The reason why I love this film so much is because the actor that played Lance Preston said the reason why he was interested in the part was because the movie didn't just rely on only showing you shadows, things moving or only showing you seconds of the monster or entity. He said the writers were adamant on showing you the whole entity and not just parts here and there which in essence made this the best found footage film in my opinion and If you knew the horrors then did in real life to patients in the name of "science" you'd be wise to stay clear of abandoned asylums. With that said other found footage films to come out should take notes.

Is kinda weird they never bring holywater or prayer books with them in a worst case scenario

Dude even if you don't actually believe in any of it, actively provoking a possible ghost is like the biggest no no 😭
