the fact that they went in after the producer admitted it was real and the freakin police reports were real and THEY STILL WENT IN

The fact that the entity learned how to use the Internet and made a YouTube account and had to go through email verification is funny asf to me. Bro got with the times 😂

the fact that the sequel wasn't just more horror but them looking into the original, and the fact that the original "movie" wasn't a movie is actually genius

I wish they made a Prequel to this movie, and focused on Police investigators navigating the Hospital, only to be victims of the Hospital. Since there is Police tape in some areas, but not everywhere in the building, it could be implied that the Police who went in to investigate experienced the same or worse encounters than the Grave Encounters crew of the first movie, and instead of a Camera crew, it could all be shot on Police Bodycam.

I love how 9 years of malnurition and lack of sun was supposed to make Lance stroneger

They chose to let him go. There was no surviving or escaping this. Once you got the interest of that hospital you were DONE. If supernatural movies had levels to their hauntings then this would be special grade, absolutely unbeatable and unstoppable. Supernatural power that literally shifts the laws of physics.

The bit where they “get out” was genuinely spine chilling the first time you watch it.

I'd actually love to see a movie where the crew is fully prepared, train endurance for plan it all out, and it still goes to crap. Watching smart characters trying and being screwed with....then just as they're bout to die Sam and Dean show up with Castiel just confused AF

Moral of the story: don't answer random texts from strangers

Looks like it’s time to clean my dimly lit basement again.

I would LOVE to see a horror movie, where the protagonist is someone like one of these YouTube channels, who knows red flags, how to stay calm, and knows that things are going wrong, I’d love to see a horror movie where the protagonist sees one of the monsters, and we hear in his head him analyzing it looking for weaknesses or anything to help him out

what I would have done differently:
"Good Movie" goes about my day

Funny enough - the unreleased prequel was suppose to be about Lance again. Apparently he was "sucked in the past" and end up in the hospital as a patient before portal was even opened and hospital - closed. They finished writing  the whole thing in 2016 tho I don't think it will ever happend.

the ending is my main gripe. i dont thing the spirit ever mentions one survivor. just to finish the films. if you open the door with all the tapes. im pretty sure they would all have left safely

How would you survive
Me " easy, don't go to a abandoned haunted building and mess with the ghost there"

24:58 This right here is just aren’t f ing fair 😂

When they heard the sound of something upstairs while with the security guard and ALL of them were present they still never left.

If I had to go to the hospital I would have insisted on waiting outside and offering to act as a lookout. No way I was going into that hospital.

i think anotehr easy solution would be to find out when the corridors started shifting. By looking through the original movie, using the time scale at the bottom of the cameras, they can estimate a rough time that the halls started moving and use that as a warning to get out before then.

what gets me is that alex was so certain it was real so like... don't go? like if you know it's real and they didn't escape then stay away?
