all harem anime protagonists keep blue balling themselves

I swear to God. This crap is like it's written by a cringy 14yr that has fantasies about showing off in front of his entire school. Jumping to rescue the whole school from some invaders and being badass in front off everybody? I swear it's like an unpopular, lonely teenage boy with no friends fantasizing of being a hero. And just like in those fantasies nothing makes sense why or how.

The meta-angle to this show is that it’s clearly a fever dream concocted in the guy’s head when he fell against the wall…..

This is like the Naruto fanfictions I used to read when I was younger.
They always start the same way too, with an angry mob beating a child Naruto to a bloody pulp on a daily basis.
So Naruto leaves the village, trains for several years to become super godly op and edgy, comes back for brutal revenge, and gets a harem.

Someone should nut up and write a Harem where the MC just ends up realizing he’s gay and dates his male best friend

I kinda wished his muscles were gained over time from fighting monsters rather than transforming over night.

The only thing i liked about this is that his density is understandable. Being a fat loser thats at their absolute lowest with no respect for and everyone laughs and stares at him for being ugly, disowned by his family and pretty much anything else under the sun that can happen at that age. Of course hed be dense about his new popularity, he notices his physical differences but he still believes everyone dislikes him because just like before the change; everyones still staring at him.
Although... i swear he must have heard peoples comments SOMETIMES

Harem isekai are usually author self insert to escape reality😊

Harem animes never fell off, because they were already at the bottom.

I hate it when a harem protagonist is dense. You want to make a harem? THEN MAKE ONE! Making the main character either not realize the girls like him or be indecisive and run away from the romance counterproductive. Its like an action shonen where the mc doesn't like fighting and runs away from the battlefield.

You're literally avoiding the plot

This whole show is the epitome of “and everyone clapped” 😭

They trying to collect every bad memory the viewer could ever have to make him relatable to literally everyone.

6:23 Not only he lost 200 lbs, he had a nose lift as well!

An anime i like who is not a harem but has romance is Phantom in the twilight. In short, the heroine can see ghosts and demons and has magic powers; she became friend with a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who had a cafe. There's action, a cool villain, the music is nice, the animation is beautiful. It's great😀I recomand it!

12:24 - that’s long enough to be the name of the light novel version lmao

Anybody else notice that there doesn't seem to be any actual plot in anime/manga/light novels like Cheat Skill? It feels like the protagonist and their harem just get jerked around by the author's latest idea without any actual structure to the story. Hell, most of these protagonists don't actually have an overarching goal, they're kind of just coasting along on whatever OP cheat skill they got.

Don't even get me started on how most girls in a harem are basically just cardboard cutouts with no real wants or needs beyond pleasing the male lead. It bugs me that the girls have no dreams or aspirations of their own beyond getting the protagonist to like them. They don't want to be rich, they don't want to become the best at something, they just want to get into the protag's pants and have his babies.

How in the hell did this mediocre AF story got enough budget to get a high quality anime adaptation?

All I’m wondering is how this got green lit as a full anime but so many actually decent manga don’t? I mean I know why, harem trash sells…..

Bro said "my bad that's a little too long" and proposed a title that was already shorter than the original one 😭

Most harem anime ultimately come from visual novels, and most visual novels are structured to give players a choice.  Since the writers don't want to piss off the fans of the character who isn't chosen, they tend to fall into the harem tropes to make sure every possible character is involved.  Sometimes it works well (Clannad), sometimes it screws things up (Shuffle!).
